CEO Residence
« on: February 20, 2010, 05:38:23 pm »

A problem with the CEO Residence is that after it goes into high security, there seems to be a lot of Mercinaries. Why is this a problem? Because Mercinaries are crap at looking past my Disguise. If anything, it's easier now because no one is suspicious off me. Try adding a few guard dogs in, they are the only thing that can get past my characters massive Disguise skill.

This is just a thought. Then it would be super lockdown.

Im actually pretty interested in the rediculously high spotting skill of some enemys.

Dogs make sense but firemen and mercs are ridiculous. Im not entirely sure but I think their even better then agents.

Good suggestion on using guard dogs during high security. They're handled uniquely to give them exceptional spot chance.

You're probably just unlucky if you're getting ridiculous spotting from Firemen, of all people. They're pretty low level and don't have anything to buff their spotting chances at all. Mercenaries aren't actually much better. Agents start out with all the stat buffs of someone with over 200 juice though, so they're very dangerous.

All the juice eaters are ridiculously good at spotting for some reason.

I dont really understand what strange conservative training those radio personalitys get.

Also dont all the juice eaters appear in the CEO house?

CEOs are the only type at the CEO house that uses persuasion attacks, but they're pretty rare. The reason is just because there's only one CEO and it's a big house; if the encounter rate was higher, it would look like a CEO clubhouse instead of a mansion.

I have been stumbling upon several CEOs there, it's not uncommon to meet several. I also wonder what makes those CEOs leak out crap... about themselves.

I think those are CEO's of companies, and maybe theres just 1 mega CEO of all CEO's.

I've had this too. Its not rare at all to find CEO's

So big it warps time and space? I met 2 CEOs at once during one of my encounters...

Must be his friends. I could also make it truly unique using the landlord/bouncer style of encounter.

Hmm, might be cool to have all these major characters be unique, persistent characters, reported in the news by name before you meet them.

I still think in order to wipe out the CCS, the LCS must kidnap/kill one person from all the Arch-Conservatives, based on the theory that the Arch-Conservatives are really behind the CCS.

The CEO is the paymaster, providing the money.
The Emminent Scientist provides the steriods, explaining why the CCS Vigilantees are so badass.
The Hangin' Judge makes sure all those gun violations never get to court.
The Radio Personality recruits.
The Cable News Anchor hides the CCS from public scrutiny.

How the mechanic could work:
CCS loses all bases, but the five Arch-Conservatives have not been handled.  After a few months, the CCS spawns in a new hidden random location.  Could be really lazy and let it be *Random Name* Abandoned Warehouse everytime, although *Random Name* *Random Abandoned Building* would be more fun.  After the CCS builds up strength, they resume operations, with the express goal of capturing LCS bases.  For extra challenge, this could also allow the CCS to expand periodically by triggering the CCS to obtain a new hidden base based on some time increment or other triggering factor, such as number of successful news stories.  Perhaps it could even be coded in so that the CCS can capture the crackhouses and apartments if the CCS is doing very well, with them triggering instead of the gangs/cops on conservative response.  The landlord of course would not rent to both the LCS and the CCS.

This would go well with the idea of adding CCS strength to the end-of-month report.  Or it could also be added to the daily public opinion surveys as "perception of CCS weakness/freedom from conservative terrorists".
