[or as someone else would say, go bat shit, ride the nurses like a bull ride (in your head of course) until you pass out.  :P]

Tired, you give in to the gas and doze off into a dreamless slumber...

...

..

.

..

...

You wake up some hours later. Your legs are in white plastic casts and hung up from the ceiling. They ache. You have a bad headache. Your shoulder aches too.

Alright, cast life rune on self.
This. We need to get our stuff back once our legs are healed, and the sooner the better!

I just hope that we can get one of those magicky stickies that fire lightning.

Those things are great! But I think they don't fire lightning but use complex alchemy to turn part of our flesh into lead. The fact that lead is so much denser is what causes the wounds, ingenues really.

Take a look at the surroundings and see if there's anything that looks useful.
...Then cast a Life rune on own legs.

I'm curious what the barely conscious ai wrote about.
Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.

You look around. There are lamps on the ceiling. The walls are made of concrete. The floors are tiled. Your possessions lie piled up in a corner. A tray of food and water lied next to you. Various machines are hooked up to you by wires, which monitor your vital functions.

> Then cast a Life rune on own legs.

You attempt to cast a life rune on your legs. (Magic: Glyphs) (Glyph of Life) (34-30=4) (4<5) (Failure!)

The spell fizzles away pathetically. Your stomach grumbles, and you want to eat something.

Your possessions lie piled up in a corner.
I just pictured a pile of cloth and gold as a sprite image like you'd see in Daggerfall kind of floating in the corner.  (I couldn't find a image of it, and DF isn't setup right now to get one.)

What do you want to eat and drink? There's some rations in your pack, but there's also a tray of food - some red jelly, fish and chips - next to you. Alternatively, you could try yelling for more food.
