You whip out your sword casually. The three men look at it, laugh and insult you some more, and charge.

>Cast projectile+fire upon the nearest thug.

You attempt to cast the Projectile and Fire glyphs together. (Magic: Glyphs) (Glyph of Fire + Glyph of Projectiles) (78-30=48) (48>10) (Success! 22xp gained!)

You generate a small fire on the palm of your hand and send it towards the middle thug, who bursts into flames. The thug runs around screaming and burning for some minutes before dropping to the ground. The other thugs look at the flaming corpse, then at each other, then at you, and run away.

A pedestrian happens to see you, and runs away while dialing his cellphone.

Cast glyphs of life+void on the corpse thinking of making an undead servant.

Yeah, do that. We'll be fighting a semi-large police force sooner or later. And hide that sword, it gathers attention.

You attempt to cast the glyphs of Life and Void in order to make an undead servant. (Magic: Glyphs) (Glyph of Life + Glyph of Void) (39-30=9) (9<15) (Failure!)

The corpse explodes in a shower of gore instead, covering the walls and the ground with blood and guts, including you. You hear sirens approaching, and a number of silver cars with brightly coloured markings, and text on them saying "Police" skid to a stop in front of  the alleyway. A large number of police step out with rifles and pistols at the ready, and crouch behind the car doors.  They are noticeably put off by the gore everywhere, though. A police with a megaphone stand in the middle, and shouts,

"Drop your weapon and put your hands behind your head! Now!"

Bad idea? I'm not sure.

> Look around.

The alley is dark and damp. It is evening. Buildings are on either side and are made of bricks, scarred with graffiti. There is a wall behind you. It is approx 2 metres high. The asphalt beneath you is dirty. Trashcans and garbage bags lie close to the wall, and more rubbish surrounds them, as well as being strewn around a little.

Cast projectile+fire upon a police car, while laughing maniacally.
Actually, don't. Instead:

Two meters is roughly six feet. A garbage can, let's say, is three feet. So... How tall are we?

1.8m ~ 6ft.

2m ~ 6ft 7in.

You are 1.85m, or about 6ft 1in.

Also, the wall behind you is retconned to 3m (~9ft 10in)
