Eat from the tray- These people have been fixing you, they're probably not going to all that trouble just to kill you. Besides, we need to save our rations for when we need them, and yelling for more food could try the patience of our... er... gracious hosts.

(On a random note, what are we gonna do when the hospital tries to bill our guy? I don't think we can teleport on a whim.)

Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.

> Eat from the tray.

You eat from the tray. You are no longer hungry. You now wonder what to do. You see someone left a book behind. The cover has the words "Pawn of Prophecy" in large text, with the name "David Eddings" in smaller font just under it. You surmise that this person is famous.

You read the book, although you have absolutely no idea who Chess is. It is interesting.

> Discover bed controls. Trip the fuck out.

You see some buttons next to your bed. One looks like a stylized person with a hat, another as an up arrow, and the bottom one as a down arrow. You press the up arrow, and to your great surprise the bed raises to form an impromptu sofa. You try the down key, which lowers it back to a bed. you have fun with these for a while, raising and lowering the bed.

Try casting life rune again now that we're feeling better. Also, shout for water and something for the headache.

> Try Belgariad-esque magic.

You mutter some random syllables while thinking of fire. You succeed in doing absolutely nothing at all.

> Try casting life rune again now that we're feeling better.

Although you are still tired, your happiness encourages you. You place your hand on your legs, with some effort and a measure of pain, and attempt to cast a glyph of Life. (Magic: Glyphs) (Glyph of Life) (96-30=66) (66>5) (Success! 85xp gained!)

Your bones move together and fuse, and your flesh stitches itself underneath your cast. Blood vessels are refilled and functional again. Your tissues heal at remarkable rates, as the energy sparks and jumps around on your legs. Eventually the magic fades, and although your have not healed completely, you have cut healing time short by a few days or even a week or two. However, these medics do not know that, so you'll probably be here the full time. You are happy with yourself for accomplishing something, but now you're really tired.

((If you want to practice other magic, you'll have to learn it from someone or something, like a teacher. Also, the bone breaks are now 3 pieces instead of 5. That's quite a bit better, actually. And only just realised that the character spoke another language, so sorry for any inconsistencies that may occur.))

> Drink the water, and take a nap. After that, cast healing again.

You drink the water, and sleep for a bit. When you wake up you feel less tired. A new tray of food drinks has been placed next to you. You then attempt to cast the Glyph of Life again. (Magic: Glyphs) (Glyph of Life) (31-30=1) (1<5) (Failure!)

However, your concentration lapses and it fizzles away pathetically.
