Run, assuming the path is still open to the south that we entered through.

I also don't think we can do three runes reliably...Besides, Cacame can handle himself fine. I haven't read the thread for it, but hasn't he been through worse? Wont this just pin him down for a while without really injuring him?

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

> Run

You run as fast as you can down the ramp and into the darkness, feverishly trying to avoid the sharp claws and the flames. As you enter the void you have the familiar sensation of moving great distances, and you arrive in...

... a cornfield. You hear birds twittering in the air, with clear, blue skies overhead. The suns' rays rain greet you warmly, and they feel so much more pleasant after your stay in the stone grove. A pleasantly cool breeze wafts through your hair. In the distance, you see thin grey towers supporting wires crossing the countryside.

You listen for something. Except for the nature, you hear some buzzing noises in the distance.

As you reach out and try to grab it, you are teleported off again. This time however, it different; you get the distinct feeling that something is wrong, and instead of feeling that you traveled a great distance you feel you are being dragged through the cosmos and the multiverse by the brain. You land on a stone floor, spread-eagled. It's still rather warm, however. A voice above you says,

"Avaunt!"

So trying to perform magic subconsciously did that? How fun.

Before you can do anything, however, you are teleported again. You end up in a dark back alley, full of trashcans and garbage an assorted junk. Three people who were smoking and talking to each other  see you behind them, get startled, but then pull out their knives. They begin to taunt you, and approach you. It seems they want your money and your possessions, as well.
