TRIBAL LIFE
The Growth of Humanity
Inspired by
this thread, in turn inspired by
this thread and I'm combining small parts of the Civilization games as well as my own extra ideas. It seems this is like the fourth one out there now. Each is different though, there's no real rule set so it's all for one.
This is my first forum game and it is a bit of a mix of many things so I hope it works out.
6 Players Max. If we don't hit it, latecomers are welcome until we hit the max. Should you be wiped out then that creates a free spot.

You are the Leader of a group of people. You must designate the tribes name, location and Skills. Describe an ideal surroundings for your people to live in and I may put you there with some tweaking.
Your tribe consists of 50 men, 50 women, 25 children and 25 elders. Describe their rituals/beliefs/traditions etc. and any other information that may help out.
TRADING
Anything can be traded, as long as you have it. You can post maximums of what you wish to be traded in terms of resources, labour, animals, territory and research as well as what you will accept. Should two tribes encouter one another and wish to trade then negotiations will not exceed what you are willing to trade.

Location
The Luzia live in a circular group of clay huts built aside a river and with a clay pit as the focus of the village. There are grasslands nearby with few roaming herds of wild animals. The hunters frequent these grasslands providing food for the village. Due to the fact they are required to hunt all year long they have a sub village upon the plains which also incorporates their storage facilities before being taken down to the main village.
Rituals
The Luzia believe in Zeke, who created them from clay to guide the wild animals of the earth and to train in claymanship so that they may craft the earth into life themselves. The crafting of clay and the preparation of food have loose rituals attributed to them, yet aren't adhered to strictly as they are seen more for luck.
Once a year, every year when the sun is at it's highest and the day is longest they recreate the Creation. They mold a man sized sculpture and fill it with the stored bones of all the animals hunted over the previous year.

Location
The Yittrasei live in the cliffs along a lake in the southern regions of the continent. Due to geothermal activity the lake never freezes over in winter, although in summer reserves of fish run low, yet not low enough to cause annual starvation.
The tribe live in the many tunnels carved through the limestone cliffs by rivers which passed through that way previously but had now moved further along the cliffside and the river opening is now easily 200 feet from the closest tunnel the tribe have access too. The tunnels lead back through the cliffs and then sharply up to the surface. These shafts are too small to climb, yet are not useless. The Yittrasei keep their fires there allowing the smoke to exit safely and vent the caves with fresh air.
Rituals
The Yittrasei regard the written word as holy and all leadership positions have their own Writing system. Every new name recieves it's own symbol and are archived accordingly.
The lake they live above is seen as the passageway between this life and the afterlife, guarded by the god of the dead, a Giant Pike. Depending on his mood he will either lead them onward, or devour them. The interpreter reads the heated fish bones to predict the future and see if further offering is required to prevent the god of the dead devouring the spirits. The body is cremated with a personal written history and scattered on the lake.
They have a parthenon of six gods.
God of the Dead/The Lake : A pike, Dvaisse
Goddess of the Written Word: Ild
God of Fire: Seivru
God of Land: Torl
Goddess of the Sky: Elta
