I think he said at one point that it could hold more than enough for many many farmers.

Hmm... I'll go with 10 without penalties for now.

Choice, fertile land is rather rare currently.

In that case I think a split of 6/6 is best for now I suggest we:

Everyone prays for good farming
One C8 Child move SE to D9, taking 5 Moccasins
One D9 Child move NW to C8
D9 All move south to D11, taking 21 berries
D11 Gatherers gather plants as much as possible, looking out for new types
C10 All move to D9
D9 Gatherers maintain the farm
C8 All move north to C6, taking everything, including deer carcass
C8 Priest does rituals for good farming; Elders and Children watch
C8 Hunters process deer, then tan hide, then make deer hide moccasins, then domesticate animals with any leftover labor

Er, how about without the moccasins?

Gar, that's good. This has been a really messy turn. So much theorizing and undoing and redoing and whatnot.

Well, once we stop starving to death things should be better.

To domesticate animals we need to get them as babies, I guess.
For now, though, we really need to concentrate on food.

Ya, at the least we need to capture some first. We will need to send some food to D11 and D9 before they get a harvest so lets hunt for, say one turn than lay out some pit traps or something to catch animals than next turn we can move to D7 and hunt/try to tame any animals. Then we can send some children down to D11 and D9 to bring them food.

The pit traps may be pushing it as far as safety goes maybe we can say if they catch say ~40 food than pit fall and if not than hunt? A lot, but certainly we have enough hunters to get the required number of deer.

Yeah, food is a huge problem. We'll get that farm started, I guess.

Cript, I was trying to catch animals for a while but holy smokes it's panic time. Maybe we can domesticate animals or trap them next turn if we're good on food like you said.

Also, RNG, I think the "Turn 11" thing is off, since it said that last time.

Everyone pray for good hunting
C6: Priest does a ritual for good hunting
C6: 1 Hunter gathers wood with an axe for 2 AP
C6: 11 Hunters hunt for 2 AP
D9: Gatherers tend to farm, then gather plants, looking for new types
D11: Gatherers till soil, then plant berry bushes
