Hmm... I tried googling Evolution Lite, but all I found was a vacuum cleaner. Care to post an example? The dots need to be differentiable because of item distribution...

Oh, right. Thanks Nirur.
The first post of Evolution Lite has the map. It shows you the general hex style thing.
For the dots, maybe you could have them be dots that, on a bitmap, look like this?

 O
OOO
 O

So that you could have, say, the top pixel be what kind of weapon they're using based on color, etc. But is it really necessary to encode that much information? After all, we can always just look at the data...

Well, I didn't mean encode the weapon type, equipment, etc. What I meant was to encode something so that the first group looked different from the second group, so when players look at the data for the first and second groups they know which group is where on the map. Maybe I could adopt a numbered/lettered grid though...

Yes, you would have the letter/number thing too. So you'd say B4 Gatherers: 3 armed with axes, 5 with knives, etc.

I will take the time to tan the deer hide that was obtained last turn. I also propose that two other gatherers (no tools)help me turn the remaining 4 hides (since 1 is becoming a lean-to for Nirur) into bags or satchels to make berry gathering easier and faster. (Since they'll have something to put them in other than their hands they can use both hands to pick them.)

I vote against the appointment of a Great Elder for the time being.

((And maybe it would help if the elders put their own actions in bold or italics or something.)

RNG, some questions:
Does praying take a turn?
Did the deer yield hides?

I believe we must make a shrine to the gods! We must worship properly.

Also Impoved effechency is good i vote for:

Also to test your berry theory I shall lead the children and any others who want to in a dance to the gods for a better berry harvest.

No great elders. We're equal for now.
Also, anyone for the shrines? The gods'll listen more.

I am against wasting time and precious resources on a shrine. If the gods wanted one, they would ask for one.

I don't think we should make a shrine either. Kinda concentrating on not starving to death right now.

RNG, some questions:
Does praying take a turn?
Did the deer yield hides?
Simple prayer, no. It is considered part of daily life, such as eating or drinking. Elaborate rituals do take actions.
The deer has skin on it, no? I will only say this: There are many resources available to your tribe. It is up to you if you use them or not.

I should note that Elders shouldn't be doing jobs. Their turn is the time spent discussing actions in here. It shouldn't really be a problem because nobody else has been appointed to the council yet, but the idea is the more elders there are, the less people there are to do jobs.

Requested hunters will be added in next turn.
