Well... I meant we needed another elder vote. There have been no objections though, so I guess I'll post the next turn.

Turn 8:

B9:
The tribe moves south.
The hunters work on processing all of their food.
The elders and children pray for a good harvest.
The gatherers find a variety of plants, which they return to the camp.
The tribe is running low on firewood.

D9:
The berries ripen. The gathers harvest the berries.

C5:
The hunters tan the skins.

The Tribe:
B9: - Main Tribe
5 Council Members(Killer, Paul, Chedd, Frederick, Cript)
3 Hunters(Faden)
 - Shortbow & Arrows
 - Crude Knives
 - Hide Tunic
5 Hunters

5 Children

C4:

2 Hunters(Org, Shades)
 - Shortbow & Arrows
 - Hide Tunic
 3 Butchered Rabbits
 5 Tanned Rabbit Skins
D9:
3 Gatherers
18 Handfuls of Wild Berries

Tools:
6 Hide Bags
7 Crude Axes

Supplies:
3 Bundles of Deadwood
8 Tanned Rabbit Skins
2 Tanned Deer Hides
45 Slabs of Moose Meat

Ok so 5 Berries per 3 turns per farmer, we can live on that I think. I think we should move to the farming ground and start farming more, the hunters can make rounds around to catch game. Hopefully we can start working on infrastructure soon.

C5-Move to D6
D6-Hunt

B9-Move to C10
C10-Hunters hunt and gatherers gather wood.

D9-Plant again.

Edit: Also do the farmers use up both actions to farm? Can we double the output if they do? Can they make structures if they don't?

Farmers don't have to spent two turns to farm. It stands to reason that there will be increased yields if they do.

Did our farmers spend two turns at the farm each turn?

Edit, Edited the turn so we can get wood.

Instead of farming two turns, can they just plant double the seeds?
What does farming entail, exactly? Just planting, or watering and such too?

Double-planting requires double-farmers. Farming includes removing weeds/pests, checking on plants to make sure they're in good condition, watering, etc.

Would we experience the same overall crop yields with 10 gatherers all farming in one hex, as opposed to being spread out in multiple hexes? I wouldn't expect 10 people to be able to over farm an area of the size that a nomadic group can walk in a day.

Right. I propose this:

C5 Hunters hunt both turns
D9 Gatherers farm both turns
3 B9 Gatherers move east twice to D9, bringing 6 slabs of meat
4 B9 Gatherers gather wood both turns
B9 Elders and Children pray for a good hunt
B9 Hunters hunt both turns

I don't think moving is necessary. We haven't depleted C5's game - we haven't hunted that much there. Also, we haven't gathered wood at B9 at all, so we don't need to move, at least not until later.
However, I do suggest expanding our farming operations, so we should send more gatherers over to farm.

Seconded. The sooner we begin a sedentary lifestyle, the sooner I may establish a thieves guild dedicated to Ibehukod. How cliche.

Yha ok that sounds like a good plan seeing how we have not hunted in this square yet.

Change vote to

C5 Hunters hunt both turns
D9 Gatherers farm both turns
3 B9 Gatherers move east twice to D9, bringing 6 slabs of meat
4 B9 Gatherers gather wood both turns
B9 Elders and Children pray for a good hunt
B9 Hunters hunt both turns

There should be enough fertile land for 10 farmers in one square.

Er, so what our farmers did was this, right?
Round 1: Plant seeds 2 turns
Round 2: Tend to plants 2 turns
Round 3: Harvest plants 2 turns

No, they spent a few turns gathering.

Ah, I see. So that's why they didn't starve...
Er, are you allowed to tell me specifically what they spent their turns on? Do you remember?

Also, this is generally how farming works, right?
First turn, you spend one AP, and only one AP, planting seeds. Expansion of farms can only be achieved by having more farmers. Also, since you eat so many berries, it's assumed that seeds are infinite.
Second turn, you tend to your plants. If you do not tend to your plants, they will die. If you tend to them for 2 AP, they will be more successful than if you had tended to them for 1.
Third turn, you spend AP harvesting plants, much like gathering berries, except the yield is much higher. (How much AP is this, 1 AP? Can 1 farmer harvest the yield of several farmers?)
