I can find no evidence Meph ever said that. Provide link?

That aside, Bay12 hosts tend to be generous with extensions.

Ah, that's Dakarian's thing (that sort of x required to extend, no objections).  I don't really know Meph's policy, and I seem to have assumed it would be strictish (like Dakarian's).

I think you're right, though, in that I can't really say anything either way based on Groovester's deadline behavior.  I'll have to rethink.

Oh, and now that I might be wrong you're just going to back off and hide?  Real smooth, Scumarsenic.  Real smooth.

I still think Kashyyk is town, but now I'm not so sure about ToonyMan given his massive lurky-lurk of recent dates without any reasoning or warning.  I need to go back and read the entire game.

Some people do this thing called sleep, and others work during the day. Stop being an ass.

Some people do these things called sleep, and others work during the day.  Others yet post in other games but not here.  Hmm, why?  Too bad that the two people in question have generally been posting elsewhere.

It's too bad if you dislike me, but that's just the way it's going to have to be.

I dislike your tendency to be overly judgmental and to use posting habits as evidence of whatever behavior you imagine in your head and then state that imagined behavior as fact.

For reference, my general policy is to require 25% of the surviving players requesting an Extension in order to extend. I should go add that to my general rule list...

Do you give any weight to objections?

How does that make you feel, Kashyyk?
Very happy that I've found my second scum. You.

You were happy to vote someone for attempting to lynch obvscum. You are blatantly protecting your partner. You claim it was because Vector and I were trying to bus our partner. Why the hell would we want to do that? Jim should have known that he didn't have an assassin bot, so I think he must have been drawing the lynch for some reason. That reason is to allow his scum partners to leap on whoever got caught by him for causing 'bandwagoning' him. Panda, and forsaken. I'm less inclined to believe it is forsaken at this point, so Panda should die first.

Main post is updated.

And, yes, objections subtract from the number asking for extensions.

So, if we have 8 living players and 3 ask for extensions but 1 objects, then we have still have 2 requests and the Extension goes through. If we had 2 requests and 1 objection, then we'd have 1 left and the extension wouldn't happen.

Hopefully that makes sense.

You claim it was because Vector and I were trying to bus our partner.

I think his reasoning is that you're bussing your scum partner because he has a body double so this will essentially be a no-lynch and a possible scum win.

Wouldn't it be easier to just push a lynch on a towny? doing Panda's suggestion could accidentally hit a vengeful bodyguard. And then we'd be back to here again, -2 people.

My opinion is that the whole thing was a failed bus attempt. Jim probably went "Guys I'll claim to have an assassin bot then so 'doh I forgot' and they'll all know I'm scum and lynch me, which won't kill me then we'll win."

And his buddies (You and Vector I guess) immediately jumped on board once he made this announcement and tried to start a bandwagon before anyone thought it through.

Does it seem like this day is just dragging on to anyone else?

I haven't been here since 10 pm about yesterday.
I just got home and now I have to leave again until around 5 pm. (humane society, look at the happy thread).

That's pretty specific Forsaken, why are you scum with Jim?

Why else would jim obvscum? I know he's not an idiot from previous games, and as other have pointed out this is a pretty transparent attempt at drawing the vote. What's your analysis then Toony?

My point of view is that we have two developing factions, and we're not really going to get anywhere since we're sitting in a cesspit of WIFOM.

So, I suggest that all of us (when/if we have time) go back and take a look at what's happened previously, so that we can make sense of the situation.
