There are no redirectors or bussers in Paranormal that I can recall and I'm pretty sure nobody is allowed to self-target. You either hit your target (who is someone else) or you don't hit. Right?

That is generally correct. The only power that can self target is the Reporter, who can Watch his own house. Some Alien tech is specifically self targeted, and the MS Security System is obviously self-targeted as well. I suppose an Assassin bot could target the user as well, though I'm not sure why you'd want to.

A Mind Control Ray cannot force someone to target their Night ability on themselves, however, since the vast majority of powers can't self-target. Votes are obviously different, since any player can self vote if they so choose.

Pandar, using the login status isn't reliable. Someone could easily have sent meph a PM saying "In an hour, have him vote himself" or simply logged in, sent it, and immediately logged off. Not only that but some of us (me) stay logged in virtually all day as I have two monitors and my 2nd is usually a tabbed browser window with several tabs always open.
