I'm glad you're saying that Janus is scummy for buddying with a... someone? Scum? Town? What is it? How does that make any sense Jim Groovester, other than you plan to use it as WIFOM when I turn up town? Clearly, you're thinking ahead on who you're gonna lynch, right?

And then webadict rushes to JTF's aid.

You've heard of making an accusation to get a reaction, right? I know you have, because that's what you're doing right now.

I also don't remember asking you anything. So unless you're in the business of rushing to the aid of your scum buddies, shut up.

It was because he claimed War Vet day 1, a perfectly sensible choice.  I think right now everyone is voting him for past grudges and ahem present grudges as well.

Erm... how is it sensible? webadict knew his claim was going to cause a shitstorm because immediately after he claimed he said somebody was going to shoot him with an assassin bot.

He knew it was loaded with WIFOM from the start, and townies do not need to deliberately WIFOM the town..

No, honestly, Org is acting more sane, stable, and useful than Webadict. Hell, Old Org was more sane, stable, and useful than Webadict is now.

  Sitting around and arguing, the day drags on. Fingers are pointed, insults exchanged, and eventually you've had enough.

  Webadict will die. Some of you don't even seem to care if he's a doppelganger!

  But, mob rule wins and Jim Groovester picks up an old revolver off of the courthouse table. Webadict can barely get off another curse before a bullet slams between his eyes and he collapses on the ground.

  You all stare at the body, waiting for it to turn....but it doesn't. It just lies there, human, bleeding on the carpet. Upon investigation, it seems that he was indeed a War Veteran. It's a shame his skills couldn't be used to battle the doppelgangers, but there you have it.

  You toss the body outside and head home. There is little time, and much to do if you wish to avoid being a doppelgangers dinner.

  You reconvene at the courthouse. After a bit, everyone but Leafsnail has shown up. A little worried, you head off to his house.

  There you find a scene of carnage. Doors ripped off their hinges, furnature scattered about, and a small trail of blood leading down from the kitchen counter. A knife lies on the floor a few feet away. It seems the doppelgangers got him.

  Looking around, you find a strange robot sitting on a charger next to his computer. It seems he was some sort of Mad Scientist, probably specializing in Intelligence gathering equipment. Unfortunately, none of you can figure out how to get data off of the robot, and you eventually give up and head back to the courthouse.

  Two of you have died, and there are still three doppelgangers. You'll have to do better today if you want to save yourselves!




Day 2 has started and will go until ~5pm Pacific Monday

Well Jim, that was a nice band wagon on Webadict.

Four people voted him, one of them have died and was shown town.  Of the three left, I bet at least one is scum and Jim is the most suspicious.

Well, honestly, my vote is going to be taken from me sooner or later (unless I've somehow scared whoever did it out of it), so either someone thought I was a beneficial role and redirected me to someone likely of the same alignment or someone thought I was a hostile role and redirected me to someone likely of the opposite alignment.

So I'm seeing if Janus knows anything, because that would indicate the former.
