I got this too, something about my steam thing being timed out. It was in one of the steam windows though, not a firefox window or anything.

EDIT: Just exited, the only game i'm really playing currently is Light of Altair and STALKER:Call of Pripyat. Even then, i'm going to login on offline mode when i get in to play one of those, i'm going to wait for this hack to blow over.

It's not a hack, and you need to follow the link anyways to give your account and password, you don't need to overreact like this. You'll be perfectly fine being and playing any games on steam, just as long as you don't blindly click peoples links.

Things like that have been going on as long as I can remember. Go to Steam support and get a ticket or whatever it is. You might still be fucked over though, I've heard both good stories and bad ones about the process. Might take a while though, since they only have so many employees to handle those sorts of things.
