My USB is flipping out

I need help. When I was working on something saved on my USB, the power went out for a bit, and the computer restarted. I tried to reconnect my USB, but the red light thing on the USB just lights up a bit, then nothing else happens. I checked the driver, and it said nothing was wrong. I had several dozen pages of stuff on that, including a very successful adventurer. D: Is my USB toast or can I still salvage the data?

So the power went out while the flashdrive was plugged into your computer?  I don't think they should make it stop working.  Try another USB port and see if it recognizes the device.  If that doesn't work try another computer.  Otherwise it really is
