The Wizard emerges!
« on: February 16, 2010, 06:21:10 am »

Hey everyone I'm new here, not sure if this is the right forum for introductions.
I've spent about 8 or so months playing dwarf fortress, ever since I found Captain Ducks tutorials on Youtube.
I've been scrounging what I need from the forum since I discovered DF (Such as a cat destroying mechanism i.e a drawbridge) and I thought I might as well join the forums.

I'm looking forward to it!  ;D
I'm also a wizard

In relation to the last post...

Do you think harvesting mermaids for their wonderfully expensive children bones is a good thing?

Would you rather drink magma or a soothing cup of naturally sourced tea?

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

RtW, if you ever feel the urge to get back to that "life" thing you used to have (assuming without justification that you ever had one; I didn't), just remember, to paraphrase Hotel California: "you can check out any time you like, but if you do, the hammerer will dispense Fun".

That sounds kind of strange to me, are you sure those are the lyrics?  :P

Are you a secret wizard, and do you have any robes for me to behold?

Wizards do not exist.  Anyone who says otherwise is an elven trickster.
