This is a mage RTD. You have something called a Mana Pool, in which you store Mana Balls which produce Mana. You insert the Mana Balls into the Wand and cast away. Spells are located on Magic Cards, and can do anything from summoning a giant troll, to simply moving objects. The more powerful the spell, the more Mana you will use. Oh, and Mana takes time to recharge-1 ball will recharge per turn. Oh, and everything can go badly wrong if you muck up your cast.
Red Mana is used for fiery spells. There's a big wooden wall in the way. BURN IT.
Green Mana is handy when it comes to moving turf. There's a big river in the way. Raise the land.
Blue Mana controls all liquids. We need these crops to grow. Make it rain.
Yellow Mana make a breeze. We need to fly. Make a very strong gale.
White Mana can light the way. It's too dark in here. Make a mini-sun.
Black Mana corrups. There's a guard in the way. Destroy his mind.
