How to be a badass at X-COM, part 1

This is how to be a badass.  End of story. There will be no part 2.



In other news, I play way to much X-COM.  THIS GAME IS AMAZING.

Attempting to move will cause the servos in that suit to explode. (Which will cause all the explosives to set off)

Plasma pistol sucks.

I don't know why there are any guns in that game other than heavy plasma, blaster launcher, and maybe stun launcher.  It would make things a lot simpler.

This is why TFTD is better than X-Com.  TFTD's sonic weapons (the replacements for plasma) don't have autofire, so it's actually a worthwhile decision between the different classes of sonic weapons (and your homemade things too)!

Mass produce laser rifles for cheap tier, no ammo, and good for inventories.

With the inventory item number bug for base defense mission, laser rifle for axuliary bases are more worth while. So much less to worry about.

And there is the odd enemy that takes more damage from laser, and a few that are plasma resistant.

Hm, I don't think I've ever gotten far enough in X-Com to get that armor.

But anyway, everyone knows a true bad ass dual wields stun rods, and maybe brings something to break down walls so they can blast a hole and then run through it and stun everything.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that person is holding 4 high explosives, 6 proximity grenades, 4 aliens grenades and 2 smoke grenades, that compromises for the lack of TUs. The reason being is if she is shot, FUN ensures!

That last gobbo would stand there, missing an arm, punctured in a kidney, liver, and spleen, fading in and out of consciousness at the far end of where the drawbridge would go, and his last sight would be the drawbridge dropping down and smashing him like a bug.

God DAMN I love this game!
