I get happy thoughts from the old rusty iron pick in my cellar  ;D
And I play DF...

I start fist fights when I'm feeling miserable, and get happy thoughts from them.

I helped construct a hydraulic ram, a most wonderfully dwarven method of pumping. Woefully inefficient, loud as anything, simple concept, and fairly easy to make.

I have done some woodcrafting a few times with some huge palm branches. Carved a few wooden swords out of them. They lasted quite a while, and they're also plenty capable.

Made a few different types ranging from daggers to longswords, and leaving most of the bulk, claymore-style too. Rather standard quality though. However, it's amazing how well one can carve a branch with a steak knife (to shave out edges) and butter knife (to smooth out edges).

Um... palms don't have branches.

I don't do anything dwarven. I'm more like a kobold. I sneak to the cupboard and steal my mum's chocolate. I sneak into the lounge and steal my step-dad's biscuits. Constant snack-thievery.

I am the house kobold.

Same. If you aren't spending all night playing DF / online / eating snitched food without anyone realising, you aren't living.

That's the great thing about this forum. We can derail any discussion into any other topic.
It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

I party (well, play games... do nothing useful at all...) for days straight instead of doing actual work.
