Yup, in light of their new game CnC4, EA have released Tiberium sun for free, along with its expansion Firestorm.

No need to buy anything else, they released it free for evar.

Nice. I think Tiberian Sun was one of the first games I ever modded. I remember installing it on the computers at school so I could play it with my buddy instead of paying attention in Spanish class.

I appear to be missing DLL files. Vista, 64 bit probably. It won't tell me what I'm missing though. Just had to clean up from a virus if that matters.

They have waaay more bandwidth than the internets can leech. Notice how every vid in the site is also in HD (as far as internet-HD goes)


I like their attitude towards modders and people who use their theme in other projects. There are a few games that were modded to fit the CnC theme and they went and supported them instead of doing the retarded cease & desist letter.

I have vista 64 too. Got the same message as you. So go to the file game.exe in the SUN folder and right click --> run as administrator. Then it worked for me. Maybe give this a shot. I also set to XP compatibility mode.

After I did that, it runs regularly and you only have to do the above steps the first time.

Maybe their servers are getting more demand now; I downloaded this starting about one hour ago and I could get max 300 mb/s.
