I found elves AND goblins living together, peacefully, in a goblin tower. Their children are playing together, no prisoners of the other race...nothing. Did I embark into elves attacking and somehow made them friendly?

The goblins snatched some baby elves, the elves grew up and became members of the goblin's civ. Happens all the time.

Yeah, the goblins kind of suck in this version.  When I want to fight goblins in adventure mode I go back to the last version, where there were no armed companions and the goblins were evil.

This happens to me all the in adventure mode, i wanna butcher some goblins but even after generating like 6 worlds the goblin towers dont even have any goblins D:

1.Collapse building
2.Pour magma over it
3.Pour water over it
4.Mine out the obsidian
5.Atom Crush the obsidian
6.Let the dwarves bleed,puke,muddy,water and miasma over the atom crushed ground
7.Make a floor over it and designate it as a forbidden area NO MATTER WHAT
8.
9.Profit!
