That damn lion got me too man. I only emptied a single shot though.

Fun fact, I was holding the RPG at the time.

What? He's firing from the hip.

This does not bode well...not well at all.

There comes a time when you must take off the soft, furry slippers of a boy and put on the shoes of a man.
Unless of course they don't fit properly and your feet blister up like bubble wrap.
Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

I would wait a few days before deciding one way or another. A ton of articles were written about a comment that was deleted, refuted by another comment that was deleted, and now nobody knows what the heck is going on.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

The original comments are from the Ukrainian newspaper though, the twitter storm is just damage control probably..

This sucks! Although I was hearing some worrying things about STALKER 2 It was still going to be one of the few games I would bother pre-ordering (that and Last Light).
First the IT Crowd and then GSC studios? I'm going to bomb so many buses.

Yeah, I think I'm going to go and punch something hard now, one of the only FPS games I was looking forward to is dead now.

You know, I could really see Stalker done in Bethesda's engine. They did most of the work when they did Fallout 3 already, and it would have a lot of the stuff Stalker has missing.

But I just know Bethesda would ruin it all but dropping in that damned fast travel system, and I worry they'd destroy a lot of the other stuff that makes the game fun.

What kind of absurd statement/assumption is that?
Anyway, I am too busy removing the spunk stains from my chair after I heard about the whole Stalker 2 being back and shit to actually say anything remotely useful.

Sorry to bump this thread but I don't think I needed to make a new one because this one was here. I just had a question about the mods available for SoC and was wondering which one was the best? I'm sort of in a split between oblivion lost, L.U.R.K or complete 2009. Really the only thing i was looking for in a mod was some improved A.I, the ability to repair my armor and weapons, and maybe some more things to do with the npcs.

I've been palying through the NDK mega mod(Stalkersoup version) and that's really awesome for the veteran player. http://www.tecnobacon.com/index.html

If it's your first few times playing the game go with Complete, it's closest example of what the developers were trying to do with their game and it's polished to a mirror's edge. Complete has a very good repair system plus improved AI and a whole marathon of fixes.
