Ahaha.. Oh yeah.. Stalker difficulty is harder than masterful. Heh.. Oh well, I'm at the place where you meet a bloodsucker, thankfully I saw it before it saw me, and loaded couple of mags in its face.  ;D. This game is fun!  :)

Wait, wait, WHAT!?

I thought Stalker was the Normal Difficulty. It's on the menu between Novice and Veteran....

Yeah, it is, but in Master difficulty all damage is buffed, so enemies die faster.  :D

Eh, I only go for headshots anyway.

And I pick all my guns based on accuracy. .-.

Yup, accuracy is quite important. But anyway, I'm now gonna go on this lab/bunker place. I guess there will be mutants inside, but whatever, they don't stand a chance against me!... Btw, what was that mutant that sent out some kind of... Sonic waves? It completely caught me off guard and I had to run away, stuff was intense.  8)

That would be a Controller. Don't go near it and always have cover. It'll go down after a few clips, just stay far away from it. You will die horribly.

And you mean the lab with the zombies all around it? Prepare for some fun times deep within it. And hope to god that your gun accepts whatever ammo they drop. And hope you can take down snorks well enough.

Well, I can handle a few headcrabmutants and zombies just fine. Atleast there couldn't be any huge giant mutants inside a small lab, right?  :D

This is the Stalker universe. While there is magic radiation I don't think they are going to throw a T-Rex at you, or a Tank from L4D or whatever.

Edit: when the guy below me says a few-hundred, he means like 600. Don't bring 300. You will kill upwards of a hundred zombies, so stay prepared.

Bring a few hundred rounds of your main gun's ammo to either lab, because you won't be resupplying inside. Medkits and some food are also a good idea, since you'll be inside for a while. Sadly, this won't leave you much room to carry loot out with you...

Keep in mind the raid on X16 will yield like 4 suits. You should find a place to store any non-Military Medkits (Scientific Medkit is overkill, basic Medkit isn't worth the space), bring 5 of those, 5 bandages, a Meat Chunk to heal between confrontations, and two Assault Rifles with 300ish ammo each. I personally use the Fast AKM and a TRs 301 - they're fairly light, both have good accuracy and mountable/dismountable scopes, can work at close or long range, and do good damage. This will leave you enough room to limp out with your heaps of Artifacts and Suits without getting yourself killed. You can sell off the extra suits (After exchanging the Ghost Stalker Suit for the best armor I've yet discovered with the scientists and the Healing Whatsit for the Freedom Somethingorother [which is no SEVA but at least it's free and pretty good] if you haven't pissed off / murdered Freedom yet) and reclaim your old gear, possibly stashing your two new incredibly useful suits somewhere so you have more room for loot.

Better idea: stick with the TRs 301. If I remember correctly it's the lightest assault rifle in the game, and it's more accurate and packs a bigger punch than even the fast AK-74.

It's a tiny bit less accurate but has more power. It is indeed the lightest.

However, the most important thing about having both a Fast AKM and a TRs 301 is that you can use the two most common rifle ammos, ensuring you'll rarely (if ever) need to buy more and can loot from the corpse of almost any Assault Rifle user in the game.

Finally, after many tries, Borov is down and I'm on my way to resupply and then go to the lab. This has been pretty damn tough so far.  ;D

I tried the crow shooting minigame.
I tried traditional bird shotgunning, with Buckshot, (Which is the best I could find closest to bird shot.) And 2/10 times I manage to hit  a bird.
Darn you flayer.

completed clear sky with a trs301 chambered for soviet rounds and the sunrise suit. Having played shadow of chenobyl the ending was a mite predicatable.

now started call of pryprat - much more open. Is it just me or are the anomalies in this game basically harmless compared with the death traps in the previous games. You can just run through loads of em to pick up the artifact(s)

also pistols seem alot better, i took down a merc base with my trusty Hm using soviet rounds. Zombies are also much easier to take down in this version, in shadow of chenobyl they were pretty solid.

of the three so far id say the best was shadow of chenobyl with the oblivion lost mod installed.
