Because the city of Pripyat is a very tiny place and is also the entire Zone.

Just ignore the two non-Pripyat areas that are almost copy paste from real life.
...Are you stupid?
They did not copy it. At all. They went there, took photos, got inspiration, left, and DIDNT FUCKING COPY IT.

every man faps to every person he knows/likes. I've done that for about 2 girls that I've liked really, and it's because they have big boobs. 'Nuff said amirite?

I have no idea whether they did or didn't, but calm down. Holy Christ; you are acting like a child.

Part of the lore is that the zone doubles in size somewhere along the way. I think it was either directly before or directly after Clear Sky.

Yeah, the zone is 24km larger than in real life.

Also - I have awesome armor and a great gun and come back to find the barkeep's stocking better ones. Hell, he has an exoskeleton. Screw you, barkeep.

I am now rapidly scrambling for dosh to get that gun. Also ran into my first 'bro's dead, mission unfinishable' problem. Damn it.

What gun? Because the best all around rifle in SoC is the TRs 301 (easily obtained in Rostok or wherever mercenaries are to be found), since you can use it unscoped for close range, scoped for medium range, and a dragunov for long range.

Oh yeah, I forgot I had a         copy of SoC on my home desktop, played it for about an hour or so.
You're right Jackrabbit, driving a car through a tossing anomaly is the funniest thing ever.
Also zombies and blood suckers attack our stalker camp after a blow out!  :O

Oh youse guise

Probably the best gun you can obtain outside the NPP is the GP-37 (H&K GP36) which can easily be obtained by looting a poor dead Freedom guy who gave his life trying to hold the Barrier from Monolith scum.

The best gun in SoC period is the FT-200M (FN F2000) which can only be found in the NPP.

...Although there is a stash in the Red Forest that has one too, I think.

By the way JackAqi, have fun with the scorcher.

I find that Warsaw Pact weapons, the VSS and the AS VAL, and finally the SVU-A, are pretty nice weapons than your complicated NATO stuff.

There are three things that I hate - dogs, my incompetent quicksaving, and the whole "nothing in the stash ever if you search it before getting a note for it".

Cleared out X-16, then went back twice more to get all the fat lewt.  Sniper rifle acquired.  Wild Territory redux was more of a bitch than I thought it would be; fucking dogs.

I have elected to keep Ghost's suit as a souvenir, and because that guard-hazmat-suit is only slightly better than the SEVA suit.  And the SEVA suit looks fucking cool.

I assume that weird HUD is from a mod.  And are you wearing no armor or something?  What's with the sleeves?
