so yeah, having my toe stabbed by a bogieman and then i bled to death from infection, after i'd just roundhoused a dragon to the head with my semi-monk blocking zen master peasent. :( legendary hero as well.

I just realized, after adding the new body parts to the other races, that I have an entire squad of dwarves with a shield in each hand and swinging their axes with their penises. There's nightmare fuel for those goblins, in more ways than one.

My brave adventurer was one-shotted by an elf warlord.  With a wooden spear.  Through a bronze helm.  And bronze cap.  And a leather hood.  He just walked up and BAM, headshot, brain's gone.

No mods, just a medium region with 400 years of history.  I found a human nation that shares territory with an elf nation and they appear to be at war.  Instead of random goblin/kobold ambushes I keep getting random elf ambushes.

Yes, they are known as forest retreats, and have no buildings.

Got a quest to kill a dragon. My adventurer had only one useful leg, but that wasn't a problem before.

Arrived at the site, and my party of 19 fellow soldiers found the dragon first, as the dragon breathed fire at them.

The dragon didn't go down without a fight however. The dragon ripped off bodyparts and the fire melted some of my companions. In the end, a lasher smashed its head in.

I decided to leave the site, when the adventurer suddenly started melting. I figured out pretty quickly that I had crawled over a pool of very hot dragon blood that was heated up by the dragonfire.

I bled to death before I could do anything about it.

Walked into an old fortress to fetch the artifact bismuth pick that was there.

Anything involving bogeymen.  Getting tackled into an empty muddy pool is probably the worst one, since the only way I could die was starvation.  Getting punched in the chest and then sufficating also was pretty BS.

Got lost in a cavern, attacked by a troglodyte.

Rolled away from his attack, tumbled down a great height. Got punched repeatedly in the face while unconscious, then finally my skull caved in. Fuck, that adventurer was so damn good

I went to fight a night creature in a cave. It kicked my hand once, and for some reason that made me give in to pain and lose a turn or something, and it kicked me again- straight in the face. Dead. One hit. I couldn't even do anything.

Death in the middle of the night by goblins. Not to forget that I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF HUMAN TERRITORY! Let not also forget that the only goblin civ for miles was OVER A FRICKIN' MOUNTAIN RANGE!

I was sleeping, awaken by a brain-through-skull curb stomp by a deer. AFTER fighting off several hundred bogeymen night after night.

Real ghosts of dead dwarves. Was my ex-carpenter what did me in. D:
