I can see them pulling us into the rivers now.... Why isn't the government doing all it can to destroy the fishy menace?? Are carp really as bad to other fish as Toady makes them seem?

I was reading the same story on a different website. You can imagine what my thoughts were after these lines:

The carp have already infested parts of the Mississippi and Illinois rivers, driving away many native fish. Silver carp are known to hurtle from the water at the sound of passing motors and slam into boaters with bone-breaking force.

Edit: Obviously now Congress just needs to pass an patch amendment to sport laws that would exclude swimming from training activities for fish.

Carp are great sport fish, fighting like heck when you catch one. You just can't do anything with it once you catch it.

My dad almost got hit in the head by one when he was fishing on the Illinois river. It could have easily killed him.
