Hey, uh, Dak? Lack of time meant that my childrenz attempted to contact me but I was unable to reply sufficiently.

Do you mind if I give them my replies, SOLELY pertaining to the previous day, some time tonight?

*cough*

If Mentors still have remaining questions to answer, they may still send them to their trainees via PM/QT.  however, know that the communication ends after that.

Hmm... I was wondering if this would happen, actually, because I had this sneaky suspicion that we might all actually be town, since this IS to work on our town game.

But that would be dumb - so we've either got a roleblocker, a doctor, or some scum that want to us to think they aren't real (or lurked their way to FAIL).

Rysith, what do you think is most likely?

The game is in the near-mountainous setting: 6 townies, 1 doctor, 1 mafioso, 1 mafia roleblocker.

I strongly suspect our doctor guessed correctly, and the scum's roleblocker guessed incorrectly. The scum may have decided to not kill, but I doubt it: It's not like they only had targets that would give the town significant information.

I would have said that I couldn't see the scum lurking their way to fail as well, but Dakarian said that some people didn't talk to their mentors, and I'd believe that if the scum didn't talk to their mentors they didn't choose a target either. I'd still label it unlikely, though, since scum tend to have little trouble choosing a target the first night.

I'd like to hear more from the people who didn't contribute much in the final phase yesterday, though: Kashyyk and Archangel, what do you think of the end of Day One?

And Glyphgryph, what were the questions you were going to ask Jokerman that you never got around to?

Note: I will always warn if bastardness is going to be involved.  Even if the entire game involves me lying, the first post will always be true.

Besides, part of being a good mafia is being able to act pro-town.  Thus they benefit from the town training just as much as the town does.  It's a big reason why there isn't a problem with them speaking to their mentors as if they are town and getting advice in the same regard.

Yah, Dakarian, I know you wouldn't do it to us - my mind still jumps to such thoughts though. ^_^ And since I was already thinking about, no night kill was like "!!!".

Rysith:
The questions I was going to ask him were mostly related to his skill level and why he attacked sir bayer - I was beginning to suspect by the end that he was merely succumbing to the panic/excitement of the newb, especially considering he knew another player in real life to magnify its effects.

Unfortunately, life stole me away quite successfully, and by then my unvote wouldn't have accomplished much anyway.

In light of the fact that he flipped town, do you think you made the wrong decision yesterday voting for him?

I feel that my accusations against him were still valid, if that's what you're asking. Had I known he was town yesterday, of course I wouldn't have voted for him, but I don't feel like the vote was wrong.

Since there hasn't been much discussion, and I may not be able to post again before the first voting deadline, Kashyyk has my vote for the relative paucity of contributions yesterday and into today.

Rysith: I personally think that Jokerman didn't have the time to finish his arguaments in his defence.

ArchAngel: You voted me for question dodging. the Night's gone on so long I've forgotten what it was, could you repost so I can answer?

Rysith's very wordy and very aggressive. Townie.
Org is Org.
Shades is just fine.
Anyone else I haven't mentioned is lurking and I haven't seen them recently.

SirBayer, blatantly buddying here. Org why did you not continue to push at this day 2 but rather continue with empty posts?

Side-note: Watching the Joe vs. Rysith battle. Town, join me - this could be very productive for us.

And what was this if not clearly a scummy post? Eduren you clearly picked up on it yet your vote stayed on joker, why did that make sense to you?

As far as I'm concerned the three of you are at the top of my probably scum list.

Okay?
Maybe scum was extra lurky.
Or doc got lucky.

Org, try not to throw around WIFOM.

Spoiler: wtf (click to show/hide)

But the crowning thing that just jumped out at me:

Since there hasn't been much discussion, and I may not be able to post again before the first voting deadline, Kashyyk has my vote for the relative paucity of contributions yesterday and into today.

What is this I don't even

Seriously, you're dropping a vote now to... to what, kill him? Town needs to kill, but you don't have evidence, you don't have conviction! You're not doing this for pressure, you're not doing this for conversation. You just mislynched, and you're cheerfully aiming straight ahead to hit another mislynch target! You're not even trying to hide it! Rysith, thank you for making this so easy for me.

All right, Bayer.  Let's talk about not being a moron.

The man has a job.  He doesn't have time to post during the day like most of us college/high school/junior high folks do (I, for example, am currently avoiding category theory.  Oh, well.  Lunch break).  If you want to accuse Rysith of being scum, bring something up other than "he posts when he can, there isn't much data to work from, and he doesn't know if he'll be able to post again before deadline."  Trying to eat people for lurking/lack of time is pretty much the weakest position you can go for, given that everyone is busy and the easiest lie is the truth.

Why don't you people get this?  Attack people on grounds it's hard to make up lies for!

Also, that part where you're saying Kashyyk is a mislynch target--like someone who already knows?  That's really funny.  Be more careful with your diction.

1. Bayer does stupid shit all the time. I was willing to joke with him about it since I already had scum in my sights.
2. Now that Joker is dead, Bayer's actions can be taken in a scummier light. Since we know that Joker wasn't scum, all of Bayers actions were due to Townie-pressure not scum pressure. He should be used to townie pressure by now, but in this game he's acting differently.

SirBayer,

Who is scum? Who is town?

Bayer does seem much scummier now. As you have said, what Joker said d1 was confirmed to be townie rather than scum. And as I said yesterday, I will pressure Bayer today, as he and Joker were mostly tied as scum in my eyes, starting when I unvoted and going until the end of the day because I was convinced Joker was scum.

Now, eduren, why did you joke around with Bayer when you actually had "scum in your sights" you could focus on?
