Scum, scum, scum. Why are you so concerned with a "strong position" Shouldn't you be concerned with, you know, who is actually scum? If all of your decisions revolve around trying not to seem weak then you look mightily scummy my friend.

Why am I so concerned with a strong position? I thought that's what I wanted when accusing someone. And it seems to me that if I can make a strong case against whomever I think I have evidence to be scum, then I would be taking down the scum.

@Kashyyk  For now I'll say that it'll count as being active, though I HIGHLY suggest you go after someone else, even if it's just random.  If you can't find someone that's scum, gather up the folks who are neutral or 'unknown' to you and choose at random.  I doubt EVERYONE looks town at the moment. 

Note that I do take an account on your scumhunting and know that sometimes you just have to go back to Step 1 and the RVS.

I know the kid outside of the game and I know that he doesn't get all frantic and screechy unless he's bothered by something - in this case, the fact that he's scum. He also knows that I would accuse him right away, so he attacked me before I could attack him in an attempt to throw blame at me before I can do the same to him. BayBay undoubtedly knows how easy it would be to convince people that he's scum (I've read the last couple games he's been in), so he's all panicked.

Why am I so concerned with a strong position? I thought that's what I wanted when accusing someone. And it seems to me that if I can make a strong case against whomever I think I have evidence to be scum, then I would be taking down the scum.

The goal is not to lynch somebody, the goal is to find scum. If you are concerned with the possibility of pushing a lynch, then you will be passing up those that look most suspicious in favor of easy lynches.

I think that you are pushing Bayer exactly because you know him well. You know he won't hold up to repetitive attacks, and you know that it is a matter of time before he flips out.

Sidenote:  Though I'm only glancing at the posts (I do deeper reads when doing the vote count) I'd say so far I like how the town is handling Day 1.  The attacks are various and light, but that's how Day 1 operates.  Meanwhile, a lot of the content now will be VERY useful come the next days.  For now, keep it up.

Hm... The Bayer-Joker argument is an interesting one. Perhaps they are both town, feeling that the other is scum because they think they really know each other and feel something "different" about each other. While I'll give them their points, I feel them to both be town.

And with that, the votes are again wiped.  I liked the attacks going on so far so keep up the rhythm, though at this point you should have an overall account on each player.  Even if you have a target, read the other attacks and, if someone looks worse than your target, it's ok to turn to that one instead.  You can always go back to your target on the next day.
