What sort of Agenda are you seeing? Why does someone have to be pushing an Agenda to attack you?

I don't and they don't my point was we should be looking for those that have one. I apologise if that was not clear in my post.

"I didn't think anyone would take me seriously!"

You should actually go back and read what I said. If there is still something you want me to explain I'm happy to.

Because, you know, PMs.

Fair enough, you could have answered when I first asked though, Unvote.

More importantly RedWarrior0 why have you been lurking since that single post you made. Lurking is bad for the town.

Its not actually a bandwagon if only one person is on it right now, though, is it?

Anyways, I got some stuff to do, busy next couple of days, but I'll try to get 30 or 40 minutes this afternoon to make a more thorough posts and vote (and update I//S//E, which badly needs a replacement).

Bayer, you're been uncharacteristically silent towards me ever since I laid out my case. You made one post with a shaky "Haha wut?" kind of deflection and that was it. Care to address what I've said, or was I right?

@Rysith: I still don't like Shades, but so far the case you've made is better than any that I could.  :-X
I'm not liking Org, either; other than a few posts to say, "Don't bandwagon," and a weak defense against his first accusation, he's been oddly silent since he made his first vote and seems to me like he's laying low.
I'm still waiting to form a better opinion of the others, at this point.

I didn't think anyone would really consider it sensible to bandwagon on a reply to a day one random joke vote phase vote
"I didn't think anyone would take me seriously!"

You should actually go back and read what I said. If there is still something you want me to explain I'm happy to.

There. Why would you ever think that it wouldn't be sensible to press you about something you said, at any time, especially when it was scummy? Why would you think that you could say something scummy and not have people take you seriously?

, other than scum of course who know who the scum are so can start pushing an agenda from the get go. It's possible this implies you are scum but my vote will stay on Org till he answers.

And that's the soft OMGUS, in case you were wondering. Soft OMGUSes are much more of a scumtell than hard OMGUSes.

@Org: What Shades bandwagon? I'm the only one here right now, and I'm hardly a one-man bandwagon. Even multiple votes could be a non-bandwagon, as long as reasons and evidence were being presented. The entire point of Mafia is to find the scum and kill them, and at some point that means collecting many votes on the scum. I've found scum. Why shouldn't I be attacking that scum, and trying to convince as many people as I can to vote for that scum? Why do you feel that voting for Shades is unfounded?

@Jokerman: That statement verges strongly on buddying, watch it. Just because I've presented a strong case doesn't mean you can't add to it, and doesn't mean that you shouldn't be voting for Shades if you find him more scummy than SirBayer. That's what FoSes are for. And if you find SirBayer more scummy than Shades (or anyone else) you should be presenting your case and pressuring him, not flailing limply at him with accusations of uncharacteristic silence.

And lastly:
While I'm by no means a mentor, I'd add that while you explain yourself, make sure you keep doing the other townie thing: Keep attacking, keep scumhunting. Someone who falls back to only defending themselves isn't thinking about the survival of the town over their own survival.
More importantly RedWarrior0 why have you been lurking since that single post you made. Lurking is bad for the town.
A trap I personally love to fling is to tell a potential scum what they SHOULD be doing if they were town.  The 'trap' is if they actually start doing it, since it shows they are willing to do what it takes to get me off their case.

Shades, that's the first attack you've made on anyone since your random-vote on Org. It's against a lurker in a game of (relatively) active townies. It avoids analysis, or accusations, and it's not a particularly strong attack. It's conveniently after I said "If you want to be town, attack people", hence the Dakarian quote. Die, scum.

If you were scum, who would you kill tonight, and why?

As a townie (ostensibly), what do you make of the various players right now?

Ah, okay. I missed that, sorry.

That's another trap question, GlyphGryph. I'll answer nonetheless: I would kill Joe, because I don't like Joe.

My opinions: You're doing good scumhunting, for the moment. I don't like the trick questions still, but y'know.
Joe's adapting his tactics to Forum mafia, a bit of an awkward process.

OH WAIT A FUCKING

Joe... You just - you just accused me of ignoring statements. When you haven't said anything aimed at me that I haven't responded to. IS EVERYONE INCAPABLE OF ACTUALLY FOLLOWING REALITY OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS IS AGH

*sigh* Back to the reads, anyway.

Rysith's very wordy and very aggressive. Townie.
Org is Org.
Shades is just fine.
Anyone else I haven't mentioned is lurking and I haven't seen them recently.

Unvote, vote Eduren. You haven't said much recently, and it's starting to get creepy. You're the most obvious lurker, because I can look down and see that you've posted - but not said anything. Usefulness, please?

Gah, I have a lurking virus. That's why I joined this.

Anyways Shades, to answer your sort of passive question, I have been lurking because I've been too busy chatting it up with you on our quicktopic, here:

Actually, I blame it on parents.

More after I develop an attack on someone.

Extension first.

Jokerman,
2. I unvoted because I had no reasons other than what you had said and I had agreed with, so I figured instead of trying to prove I wasn't just following to follow, I'd pursue a different - though what I deemed weaker - position against SirBayer. I chose Shades at first because that was the direction that seemed the strongest position; once accused of bandwagoning, it no longer seemed that way. If that makes sense.
Scum, scum, scum. Why are you so concerned with a "strong position" Shouldn't you be concerned with, you know, who is actually scum? If all of your decisions revolve around trying not to seem weak then you look mightily scummy my friend.

Sir Bayer saz:
Quote
Rysith's very wordy and very aggressive. Townie.
I agree he's looking very townie so far, but I have to say... something is not quite sitting well with me about the way he's wording his arguments. I'm only even mentioning it because maybe a host can give me some advice, there's nothing I can put my finger on. I don't have any evidence, nothing I can figure out anyways, which is why I haven't attacked him yet, just watched him interacting with Shades. I've got the same sort of hunch I had about Errol day 2 last game, and he turned out to be scum...

So, Rysith. Its awfully convenient how when jokerman starts buddying with you, you just warn him "You don't want to do that." What's the matter, is he ignoring your advice in scumchat? Something of a loose cannon? You're tunneling on Shade's and applying a lot of pressure, but somehow I don't feel its like you to let an obvious scumtell like that go with a mere warning. Afraid of an OMGUS? By all means continue pressing shades, but if you're town you had better stop tunneling and start paying attention to other people who act scummy, or you'll be at point zero again whether he flips town OR scum. That's my piece of advice.
