I think it's easiest to be a serial killer.

No partner to avoid treading on, very few consequences for other people's slip-ups.

For me, town game is "hunting reactions."  Scum game is also "hunting reactions."  Once you've studied how to hunt reactions and give the correct reactions in response to the hunting of others, everything falls into place.

Yeah, I found that in BYOR 1.  Having no partners meant noone could connect themselves to me, and it also meant I was acting less scummy because I genuinely had to find mafia members (I could also dodge the truthspeaker question, although this was kindof irrelevant).  On the other hand, as an SK, you suddenly have the mafiakill to worry about too :-\.
