Fingering around in the depths of the cold space, you realize you had suited up for the boarding as there was going to be spots of the station that had lost all life support by now. Lucky you, huh? Not so much your commander. You grasp for you pistol and manage to take it out of it's holster. It's loaded, and you've got about another clip for it. You were going to get armed with rifles in the airlock.

You shoot opposite of the ship, and float inside before a weird invisible barrier is seen. Electricity is contained in the barrier, bouncing around like the clouds of venus. A broken shard of steel floats by the spot you were just in.

You walk to the NW door and peer in.

Shit. Drones, and all the pretty-faced non-grunts inside are dead.

We are setting up a defensive position there to make a run to the escape pods-One thing high command didn't tell us is that apparently, pretty much all of the pirate drones are alive, and very well functioning. The drones inside condense, and after much charge finishes flowing through them, they unwravel to form a mech. About human-sized.
