*It'd also work in a practical sense since both professions have downtime.

If the ethics are ever going to be improved so that you can butcher pets, other sentient creatures and your own dwarves this would be a great way to level up a dwarf.

I recently discovered that repeatedly dropping children two z-levels results in more broken bones than children, but few to no deaths. If this holds true enough in the next version, then we won't need to abuse the working adults.

I recently discovered that repeatedly dropping children two z-levels results in more broken bones than children, but few to no deaths. If this holds true enough in the next version, then we won't need to abuse the working adults.

2 levels might not do it, but 3 should. I don't think they can be killed from a 3 level drop unless they bleed out. 4 levels or more can cause death or at least serious injury.

Try dropping them directly into the hospital from above!

While I realize that soap is going to be implemented to clean off dwarves, all I can picture is Urist McMedic cleaning wounds while covered in 20+ layers of mud, blood and vomit.
