1SE to E7 (I'm sure wolfchild will have killed it by now)
Don't be so sure. Wolf now has a 3/20 hit chance.

But... but it's right in front of him!  Haha.

I rationalize this the same way I did in XCom, that the soldiers get panicky when that evil clawed beasty is right on top of them, and spray wildly.  Though in XCom, a "miss" went off at a random angle, and could still hit the enemy (or a friend), so there was a significant invisible bonus to accuracy at point-blank.  That would real time consuming to implement here though.

Rolan why don't you say something like

IF wolfchild kills the zed i do this, otherwise i do this

You really can both sig it.

Because I'm lazy, and I enjoy Chedd's interpretations of failed actions.  Even though they tend to be fail for us.

Yeah, in real life you could probably hold the gun, close your eyes, and thrash about wildly, and get more than three hits at least.
But no, game mechanics are game mechanics, insufficient armor equals BRUTAL PUNISHMENT.

I move two north and one northeast to D6, if it is clear and it will have a clear LOS to the zombies.

If it is still there I shoot the Zombie at E7. If not, I shoot at the next closest zombie.

Allstone submitted it. It was supposed to be the next-tier SMG, I think, after Degtyaryov. Anyway, I guess I'll add it when someone gets enough cash for it.

The Vulcan fires 20mm rounds. It is designed to be mounted on an airplane, to shoot tanks with ludicrous quantities of firepower. The Metal Storm weapons fire normal rounds to shoot normal people. They are not belt-fed like the Vulcan is. With Metal Storm, you can fire 1 million rounds per minute for about one hundredth of one thousandth of a second. They are honestly not that great.

What about that 40mm?

Also, it belongs in the Shotgun category, basically

Grenade launchers aren't supposed to be fast. A class weapon would probably do more damage and have a radius of 3, or something, not be fast to fire. That would be so much work to GM, and not in the spirit of grenade launchers, or in the shotgun category either.
