I like RNG's ideas on wraiths. And, with Titans, it's less feasible to hole up so wraiths can't get in. And if anyone manages to kill a Titan without using any weapons at all, holy shit.

On Skeletal Shamans and buffs/debuffs. Perhaps you could only have one at a time, and buffs/debuffs will be only coming from Shamans. That way you could indicate them with a ring of a certain color around the creature or change its background tile color to reflect the buff/debuff.

Just be careful that you don't make things too complicated for yourself Cheddarious. It sounds like this game takes a lot of work as it is. If you add in too much complexity it might become too unwieldy to run.

This is a good game. You guys should see if you like it.

This game seems fairly uncomplicated at the moment. Classes/perks will be messing it up, but if I write down how much damage someone does, I only have to look at perks once per round.
Buffs seem difficult, and I am very wary of them. I think that right now, a Skeletal Shaman who can only support one buff or debuff sounds good. But I'll have to take those out if it gets too complex.

All right, time to stop procrastinating and actually start this!

An immense horde of zombies charges into view. Reavers head the crowd, sprinting towards you with a lust for human flesh. A solid line of zombies follows, with Virii heading up behind to spew their toxic fluids. A dreadnought in the back, along with a small vanguard of zombies, protects a Zombie Gunner, who launches blasts of corrosive acid over the crowd and into your lines.

Fire shots off at whichever zombie I have a clear line of sight on. Probably the one directly in front of me, but depending on where people move to I'll shoot the closest one by preference.

I'm going to say pistols have 5 Range. So you can't hit anything from here.

Nah, that's an awful thing to calculate.
Actually, should I have ranges at all? I deleted them earlier, so I'd have to put them all back in. But without range penalties, things like rifles suck.

Well, you can do a few things:

1) Give rifles more damage then pistols. It's not super realistic but it works well enough.
2) Give Pistols a range penalty past 5 squares. No need to do figure out range penalties past that, since the maps are so short.

Rifles are already very powerful.

Okay, range is nonexistent now. You can fire wherever you like.

Unload both pistols at the reaver at G14. If it goes down, I15, If that goes down, H16.

Target the reaver at G14, then K14 if it goes down. If that dies as well, fire at the zombies on G/H 16
