Spoiler: @Red: pretty long (click to show/hide)
The Gunner is supposed to be zombie artillery. I'm not sure what it is. I guess in real life it's a large barrel with a smaller telescoping barrel inside, with four legs sticking out to adjust itself.

I was thinking I could keep track of challenges, awarded just once to people. Bonus points could be used for buying deluxe equipment that you can't get any other way.

Also, those challenges were examples.

Also also, perhaps a wraith could materialize as a wall wraith, becoming an undead extension of the wall?

I dunno. Having wraiths pass through walls and such already kind of messes up my system, since it's harder to work with two units on a square at once...

Challenges seem good that way. I presume that the challenges would be their own reward, since the group would essentially be getting free things; that is, you wouldn't get payment for curating and creating them, neh?

Shaman, Necro, and Regenerator seem good. I might add those next round.

Okay, wraiths don't need to pass through walls. Problem solved. Now if only politicians could learn to compromise...

But... then what's the point of wraiths at all?

Hmm... there should be a reason not to pack closely together... Splash damage!

Somewhat. With splash damage from stuff, there can be a reason to not pack too closely together. By avoiding a tiny bunker, there is a way for wraiths to attack. I'm just thinking splash damage would affect tiles orthogonal to a target and deal a little less damage than the center tile.

How would wraiths be able to use their splash damage if they were unable to pass through walls? They would just attack the walls.

I don't know, I just think there should be a way for people to "cheat" the system. I mean, if you have a zombie counter to every possible strategy, there's not much point in making a strategy at all. The best strategy at the moment is to bunker down behind solid walls and fortifications, and I find that clever and encourage that. If I were to try to make some way to introduce risk into the system, and make it likely that people would be killed, I would do it through weakening fortifications and attacking with overwhelming strength, not cheating the system myself.

I was saying something else should have splash damage, not wraiths. And I get your point. Basically, make wraiths not able to pass through walls, don't use splash damage, and I'm going to abstain from the wave of 12 Titans. Just make the wraiths better at not getting killed at long range and able to dematerialize and open doors.

Made a few variations to your zombies. Gave the reaver talons instead of hands and large blades on it's arms, virum has a mandibles for a mouth, waith zombie/wraith are more purple/gray, gunner looks more like a creature(frog perhaps? I'm not really sure) and titan has more armor.

You're free to use as many or as few of them as you wish.

As far as the Wraiths go, you could allow them to move through walls only if they completely phase through. I.E., no ending a turn inside a wall. That way you don't have to mess around with the tiles. I do kind of like the idea of making them invulnerable in wraith mode(at least harder to kill) than normal mode.

Ooh, I really like the Virium, Reaver, and Wraith Zombie. The Gunner is good, but maybe for a different zombie; the gunner is more stationary artillery than jumper. Thanks!
I'll pay out a stipend per zombie, probably $15 or so.

This is probably legal now, if anyone is willing to double-check the maths...
