Any ideas on how to have a steady amount of damage without having ranged zombies?

1) Bring back the Wraith Zombies(Were they ever actually in?) that are invulnerable in ghost form but also can't attack. This lets them get in melee range without being mowed down first.
2) Swarms of creatures; either tiny dog-like zombies that are weak but have large movement, or even swarms of zombie-insects (plaguebearer zombie?)
3) As mentioned, poison, but as you previously stated you didn't want to deal with DoT from burning, DoT from poison also seems unlikely.
4) Zombie Gas infected with viruses, sort of like the zombie-insect swarms, that turn people they kill into zombies?

I don't really like poison; I want a steady amount of damage because you're being attacked every turn actively. I tried swarms last time, but they didn't work. But I'm thinking insects could work, with low health but 90% dodge chance or something.
Hmmm.
I think I will bring back Wraiths, make zombies weaker but tougher (seems realistic after all), add some swarms, and do some waves like you said. I'm not sure what Zombie Gas is supposed to do, though.

You could also make explosions have a 100% hit chance(after all, it is hard to dodge fire), which would make them better than machine guns in those situations.

Changes:
Engineering items now use Scrap instead of money. Scrap can be scavenged by a Scavenger (a Metal Detector increases the times you can search), or taken off of destroyed vehicles, or bought from the store (though this is expensive).
Viewing Devices are now more powerful, and can only be used by engineers.
Removed a lot of miscellaneous stuff.
From now on, if you die, your items are lost as well.
All perks have been toned down some, pistoleer especially. It was kind of... unfortunate having some people do crazy damage, and other people do terrible damage. I mean, if you take Gunner and fight with knives, you kind of deserve it, but if you just don't use perks that much, you should still be able to do some good damage.
I accidentally deleted the land mines section. I meant to move it to Engineers but I accidentally deleted it completely. I'll need 2 or 3 suggestions for names of land mines and descriptions, if you guys want to do that. Suggestions for engineering stuff, like traps, or field constructions, are great too.

I'm not on the waiting list.

Also, I plan to have that program to automate, but...

You could have curse zombies, or radioactive zombies, or just being forces to fight in bad weather. It could hit everyone for something like .2 damage every turn. It would avoid the ranged damage feature of instantly killing an individual and the thematic issues of gun toting zombies, but still retain a need for people to be healed and making staying up the back potentially dangerous. Or you could just make the zombies faster so that if the tanks get killed they pour into the pitiful gunners, but that will cause T.P.K.s and most people still won't buy armour, although they may contribute to the tank's armour fund...

Am I in the next round?

I support the environmental damage idea.  Maybe the zombies are virus-based, and said virus is wearing down everyone's HP slowly.  That also suggests armor-based solutions, like gas masks.  So either healing or armor is necessary.

In fact, maybe certain areas of the map are more deadly than others.  Could lead to interesting maps.

Hm.  Surprised there haven't been more L4D-style suggestions.  I'm a bit of a fanboy, so I won't push this, but maybe some special zombies which try to separate the players would be interesting.  Shamelessly inspired ideas:
A zombie which can leap over occupied squares to melee back-row players.  Not pinning, no one likes having their turn skipped.
A ranged zombie which ensnares a target.  If the target isn't assisted by a friend next turn, they're pulled to the zombie's location.  They wouldn't be helpless, though, just pulled into a melee situation they may not want.
A ranged zombie that makes a collection of tiles very hazardous to stand on.  Goes with the environmental damage idea.

The hunter, smoker, and spitter obviously.  Still, seems like they could promote teamwork and movement.

You have all been added in the turn you posted. There is one spot left. New players are higher priority than old players who were not in last round, which are higher priority than old players who were in last round.

I really, really don't like environmental damage. That doesn't seem to make sense to me. You should be trying to kill the zombies because if you don't, they'll attack you. If you have environmental damage, you just lose health no matter what. The zombies are pointless. It's just a time challenge, then.

Rolan7's zombies sound good. I might add them.

I am done with my changes.
Also, you guys have only 5 PP to start, not 10.
