Yeah... I think this is a bit unbalanced. I think I'll start putting a limit on how much you can make, because most of the money is starting to come from creating stuff, and people who create stuff become unto gods while the others wallow in shame.

I'm going via RAM's haggling and I sold the starting pistol, but I'll switch to a lower set of armour and pass on the windfall.

($335 goes to group inventory)
Anyway, from here on I'm pretty much going to be giving out most of my money. I like to be somewhat established to begin with, but afterwards I'm going to be putting a focus on making our support guys good, seeing as we're going to be relying on them.
EDIT: Okay. Additionally, from now on, all money I get from making stuff gets evenly split between me and the group.
Sound okay?

Let's see. ($250 + $250 + $200 + $200)*.9 = 810, plus the $160 for the PP (which can't be haggled, since it's non-transferable) is $970. That means only $285 will go to the group. Do you want to reduce it some more? Give up a Gauss Pistol or something?

Also, in the future, you will make almost nothing from creation, other than the Awesome Things (you owe me something in the final battle and you get something awesome now). I will make the stuff, or you guys can make the stuff out of love for creation or whatnot. But I don't want the main income source to be making things up, that messes up the game a lot.

Yeah... I noticed that myself. It does seem rather unbalanced to have $700 worth of stuff when most start with $100. I still want to get Plot Armor and Snake? SNAKE?!?!? SNAAAAAAAAKE!!!! though, which is another $480... Maybe I'll do the 50/50 thing too, though Snake is more of a support ability than a personal one.

EDIT: Ninja'd by Cheddarius. Still willing to do art for the final battle, and I guess the awesome thing could be one or both of those perks... or maybe some sort of hero class weapon, I dunmo. It recently occurred to me that Hero has *no* offensive abilities, which makes me think that 20 PP might be a bit much for it... but then again, I can't do anything else since I'm

and he has hero and hard to kill written all over him, even if he does fail at actually killing people...

I also sell my pistol, which makes 335. Unless someone wants another pistol added to the seven already there.
Also, I don't know what this means:
(you owe me something in the final battle and you get something awesome now)
Anyway, if you really want me to go further, then I'll go with this character:

Which leaves 720 to go to the group. I think. I'd prefer not to go with this class though. Maybe I'll still get the second Gauss Pistol. Dunno.
EDIT: Hmm.
If 4 of the 15 people (GM counts as double) want me to go the most conservative class then I'll do it without a question. A vote, if you will.

I don't really care.

So make that one less person, I suppose

(not that my opinion's ever mattered before, he he)

Well, this is my perspective:
I think I gave you too much money. I gave you money based on how much I thought you worked on it, not how much I thought it would benefit the game.
Now, there are going to be people with way too much money. What's going to happen now? Is the game going to be three great people and a bunch of suckers?
But I can't just take your money. So I'm forced to resort to begging.

I vote for the current build. It gives enough money to the group that with some pistol sales, people will be pretty much even, with you as a couple hundred dollars stronger than the base.

M'kay.
Anyway, I still have no idea what you mean with
(you owe me something in the final battle and you get something awesome now)
Does that mean you'll be commissioning me for stuff in the final battle but you'll be rewarding me for that now?

'Tis never nice to be alone, especially in overpoweredness. Keep it as it is.

Meh. I guess I'll go with the current one then, as per Cheddarius and Red's opinions. I don't really want to hold us up any more than is necessary.

RAM, why would you feel guilty? You are one of the cheapest players. You take hardly any cash and do not buy new weapons, yet do very good amounts of damage.

By the way, Red, what about that program? Minimum specs that would significantly speed up game turns would be:
-saves player data (damage, bullets, etc.) in files so I don't have to retrieve them, or takes them all at once so I can just copy-paste it
-when told "X fires at Y", rolls and tells me how many hit, how many crit, how many miss, and total damage (very preferable: can handle reductive armor) (kinda preferable but hard to program: can handle weird stuff like 4x on crits instead of 2x, with Apricot)
Preferable specs:
-tracks AP (including saying "dude moves 3"). Medium priority.
-saves active perks/effects, like Martial Trance, and asks those questions before use ("Is RAM in a 5x5 square with 3 times as many zombies as humans?"). Medium priority.
-saves positions. Medium priority.
-saves weapons and/or perks so the start of the round is easier too. Low priority.

A lot of these go together. For example, the saving active perks/effects thing could mesh with saving positions - if the game knows the positions and perks, it's pretty easy for it to figure out if someone's in a martial trance by itself.

Saving Creatures should be easy enough, and I'll give you a .txt with the info when I do the program.
Positions I may or may not do. Would probably just be a 2d string array, so shouldn't be that hard, but LoS... Meh.

Also, are hit/crit determined by 1d20, comparing to hit range, another 1d20 for crit and compare to its range or is it just 1 1d20 compared to both?

It's just taking a little longer than expected. I may or may not have it done by start of next round.

One 1d20 for both. I mean, it would be kind of weird to crit but miss, right?
