What's that smell?
Is... is that gas?
Did someone leave the stove on without lighting it or something? Oh god, I gotta get out right now...
Wait, no, that's not gas. Gas is different. This is... I don't know what it is... I feel like it rings a bell, but - oh, I've got it. It's the smell of a NEW UPDATE YAAAAAAY

Your Jeep convoy arrives at your destination. The General steps out and introduces you. "Welcome to Sierra Army Depot, men. We chose to occupy this depot to secure arms and ammunition after the apocalypse, and we've made it into a strong base." You walk out of the Jeeps and follow the general to the weapons depot. He says, "Here we have many weapons you can use. We'll pay you for killing zombies, and you can use that money to buy new equipment in the store. We have a lot of stuff that the trader didn't - a huge array of weapons, pharmaceuticals, engineering tools, various items... We recently just got a big shipment of armor, too." (Bike Helmets and Running Shoes have been destroyed and refunded in full) He starts to walk away, but turns around. "Oh, I forgot to mention. We have some weapons. They're unique, the only ones in the whole world. We're looking to find someone who can use them adequately. If you can prove yourself... they're yours."
You set out to stock yourselves with equipment from the depots. An army official comes by. "The general has some missions for you when you're done.
1. Defend the base from zombies. This will get you money for new equipment.
2. Defend one of our oil drills from raiders. This will get you money and oil that you can use later.
3. Patrol for raiders. This will get you money and vehicles that you can use later.
None of these missions require cars - we will provide transportation for now. However, you will require cars later."

SHOP HAS BEEN UPDATED. PROBABLY NOT GOING TO ADD ANY MORE, IT'S FRIGGIN' HUGE
TURNS ARE NOW LIGHTNING FAST. GET YOUR TURNS IN AS FAST AS YOU CAN, PLEASE

What I need from old players:
Whatever you want to buy.
Make sure you don't have anything that doesn't exist any more.
You should get someone to heal you if you're hurt. You don't get free heals between rounds, nor free repairs.
A vote on which mission you would like to take.
A vote on whether you want ammunition reimplemented (complicated, but could be fun I guess).
A vote on whether you want prone/standing/etc. to be reimplemented (less complicated, doesn't seem that fun because everyone's just going to be prone all the time so I don't think it'll make a difference)

What I need from new players:
A description of you from the top view.
What you want to do with your money - you get $100 and a .22 pistol. Give it to the group, buy weapons, armor, perk points, whatever.
What you want to do with your 10 free perk points. We need support classes. Also, whoever gets engineer will have something interesting happen to him/her.

Hmm... Can we un-take flaws? Like if we want a flaw now for a few extra PP, when we get money later can we remove it?

EDIT: And what are the unique weapons?

No, whatever you take is yours for life.
For now, at least.

Also, the first post and Reply #1 need some updating.

Zombies, I'd like you to march forward in a single file line, towards me. Thank you very much...

Well, nobody really cares about the map, right? Because the map for next round isn't up yet, and the map for this round doesn't matter any more.

I'll give you your rail rifle later, relax.

My character looks something like this :D

Borrow $25 $10, a second .22 pistol, and the two first aid kits from the stash (if that's alright)
Buy a pack of 5 epinephrine ($50) and a pack of 3 norepinehrine ($75) leaving me with $0.

Medic -5
Flaws: Softhearted +3, Valiant +5, Noodle-armed +4
Perks: Precise -7, The Cleric -4, Speedy -4, Lively -2

Rolan7: Apothecary
Money: $0
Status: 3 HP
.22 Pistol *
.22 Pistol *
First aid kit (2)
First aid kit (2)
Epinephrine (5)
Norepinephrine (3)
Perks/Flaws: 0 PP
Medic class: -5 PP: Uses half AP to heal (rounded up), -2 AP per turn
Precise: -7 PP: Uses half supplies to heal (no rounding)
The Cleric: -4 PP: -1 AP to use a healing item
Speedy: -4 PP: +2 AP per turn
Lively: -2 PP: +1 AP per turn
Softhearted: 3 PP: Cannot take other actions apart from healing if able to heal an ally below 75% health.
Valiant: 5 PP: Cannot be healed by others
Noodle-armed: 4 PP: Cannot use snipers, machineguns, or shotguns

I vote for defense!
I vote for not implementing ammunition.
I abstain on the standing/prone vote.

How does equipping items work?  I don't see rules for it, so I don't know how effective Utility Belt is.

You still need a medipistol. All the cool medics are using them.

Also: Hybrid characters. I want to combine with Rolan and have a medirifle that will inject all allies in a line with super drugs and heal them at the same time.

Me + RAM: fires a round from a rifle which then deploys the Knifemerang behind enemy lines.

Me + Pandar:  :o

You get $15 for drawing your character, so you only need to borrow $10.
Equipping costs 3 AP, I think that was in the Data Repository.

It would be really awesome if you could format your post the same way that I format the status posts so I just need to copy-paste it.

Redwarrior, your flaw/perk usage makes you way overpowered. How do I fix this? What I'm thinking is make flaws give a lot less PP, or make less of them, so you quickly run out of flaws to take and have to resort to paying for PP.
How would you feel about me making flaws give less PP and forcing people to either buy more PP or remove some of their perks or get more flaws?

Okay then, I am

My appearance is quite striking:

I will purchase enough training to gain Heroic abilities, as suiting of any Gentleman Adventurer.

I will then liaison with this fort's here Quartermaster in an attempt to procure the device known as a Claymore Claymore or another such device to cut a burning swath of Righteousness through these horrible Revenants! I will also purchase a Tinfoil Hat that has been ingeniously disguised as a visor.

As far as the issues concerning the fort go, we should work on modifying our weapons so that do not comsume ammunition, though I do not care if we stand or crouch while shooting them, and I believe we should take care of these Madboys who prey on innocents so they are not around when the Revenants come. I am also looking for a spunky girl sidekick, if anyone is interested.

Ched: You give me $320 to get myself both levels of camo on top of the Ghillie perk.

You made too many flaws for the same objective.

EDIT: or, IDEA: Overpoweredness is comparative, right...?

EDIT2: Also, I'm effectively immobile, since I can only move at low health, when I only have 2 AP, and when I need 3 AP to begin moving. You could throw an immobile ally next to me just to spite me.
