Sadly I don't know how to name a Bevin.

Bevin is the first world you arrive in, right? What do you mean by "name it"?

Also, I've found a weird dark room with red light, water and a ladder. I can't see anything when I climb up the ladder. Damn, how should I see there? :)
P.S. It's in my private links and is called "Tetsonot".

And should we pay for the Gametap subscription to see all places or is it an old guide I'm reading?

Bevin is not the name of the first world you arrive in, its the name of the "neighborhood" you belong to, the book just happens to link to the city of D'ni (which was the first world besides Relto and New Mexico that you had access to).  Belvin just controls who you can chat to "globally" with your Ki.

I don't fully get it except for the fact that I get that it's not a name of a city part with a fountain now.

What is a "neighborhood" and how many are there?
And I've found a few upgrades for my Relto, yay :D. Still a  HUGE OMG SO MANY things to look at :D. It's cool. It's the first time in the last few years when I feel that I don't know what to do in a game and I am happy with this feeling. The feeling of Newbie is priceless :P.

Currently I am stuck in a valley with "water"-like spiral symbol and a rotating lock in a metal door in a rock. I can't figure out how to open it but I try :).

A Belvin is a group of people who can communicate with each other via their Ki without needing to be near each other.

Think of it as a group in Second Life and the Ki lets you participate in group conversations.  You can only belong to 1 group and you get assigned one automagically when you get your Ki.

Deon, you may want to start with Yeesha's Journey, which is the single player game (although you can at some inconvenience get other players in your instance). Just beat the cleft (the desert place with the trailer), by touching all seven spirit cloths and then the hand symbol on the tree at the bottom. Go inside and get a relto page with a pillar. Then head back to your relto and you will notice the party has started.

There's also The Path of the Shell, and the Third Path. Haven't really gotten into either. I have some TPotS books, although I forget where I picked them up. And the set of books for the Third Path can be found in the ferry terminal- do some exploring, they're all in one place.

Meanwhile, last I left off I was having physics problems in Gahreesen. I will see if that is true of today.

So Gahreesen is not a small world where you get your Ki but it lets you move somewhere further? Cool. I was wondering can you do something with random broken objects (look like a torch and a helmet) in one room.

I found in the world I'm having trouble with some pressure plates. I gathered all different objects in the room and placed them on top of each plate. Nothing yet, but it's nice to have them down at the same time, for now.

In the room at the top of the elevator -the one with the fish tank- try looking around. There are relevant documents there.

And yes, Gahreesen is huge. First you will need to turn on the power, through. Search high and low, and in every crack!

And don't worry, you don't need the torch and helmet. But you'll get quite fed up with physics objects later in Eder Gira.

Oh, I already lingered around the office; it's those darn buckets. I think they're stuck in the OPEN setting. I managed to get the middle lever to go down, and slowly rise, but I can't get it to happen again.

I decided to tour the other worlds so far. Got the generator at Gareesen (Ki place) to work, and all the doors and elevators are operational now. This place oddly reminds me of the clockwork house in the first game. Speaking of clocks, I figured out the gar puzzle in the canyon place.

Ahh Tetsonot.  That's one of the "pod ages".  There IS a power switch but it only kinda works.  If you go to other ages linked from the same place, you'll learn your way around.

(Damn, do I actually know what I'm talking about now?  That's scary...)

I -think- I know where you are.  There's cloth-like stuff on some of the walls that you can press, right?  You'll need at least one other player for THAT place.

Regarding the pressure plates
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

One of the worlds, i forgot what it's called, was made by an noob. Not only were there excessive amounts of useless hints and information, there was even a design error, one of the hint in game was plain wrong and i only found out the answer through luck.

It's the one with the link to all those colorful designs on the walls as hints and those 6 spinning triangles with symbols on them.

Also, we need to post our ID's, not links if we want to friend someone while they are offline. I forgot to write mine down...too lazy to go back on now.

Yeagh, I figured that out eventually, especially with the help of the map for the plates.

Now the next issue; the 2-door system after solving the pressure plate (I made it so they're no longer needed to open). How do I reach that book, and operate the bridge now?

Note: I still have power running through 2 of the gear systems (3rd one is still a pain), and the bucket system still looping (and locked on the OPEN setting (which I still don't know how to fix)).

BTW, I'm using the same ID as my Bay-12 ID. And I decided to go to where Sowelu is (Uru Obsession). I'm still on, but I'm probably going to get off in an hour.

EDIT:
Okay, Ki-ID
That would happen to be: 00848192
Member of: DRC (200) Bevin

EDIT EDIT:
Lotta progress
Spoiler: Possible Spoilers (click to show/hide)

So yeah, 1 of 4 locations have been beaten so far, and my place has a few thrones now, and a pretty grassland and so on and so forth. I'm liking this game.

No no, ID is an actual number Not the name. It should say it somewhere....maybe in the Ki.

And for the wooden bridge, you have to jump kick it......only thing in the entire game that uses this method...so dumb.

And the third gear doesn't do anything, it's just broken.

More books explaining all this stuff should of been put in.
