  This was similar to what happened to me. I was traveling to a cave and came across a chasm, and was promptly attacked by like, 18-22 chasm creatures. I killed maybe around 12 of them, when I knocked an Antmen sideways and he flew and hit a troglodyte right at the edge of the chasm, causing them to tumble over. Then I randomly hit buttons because one of the ratmen got me in my arm, and the next thing I knew the ratman corpse was falling into the chasm with a nice: 'The ratmens chest has exploded in gore!' and a 'The ratmen has flew backwards!'
