I give the dirt a wide birth as I walk past it and continue toward the castle, or where I think the castle lies.

The group carefully avoids the dirt and continues on. Up ahead, they can see two dots on the road ahead.

I treat them as foes and approach cautiously

[Cheddarius]

Wait, what? I wanted to look at the dirt, and so did CJ.

Hmm two dots...

"CJ you can handle the stealthy part, but I'm feeling a bit lucky today"

I circle around the two dots and then come back at them from a different direction than what CJ is coming from, I walk towards them confidently with my hammer held in one hand just in case.

if the dots are intelligent beings
>"Hail, looking for a fight or are you two actually friendly?"

if not
> I'll wait to look at the things from a distance while I think things over.

[Squeegy]

Oh, sorry, I didn't see CJ's post and since it was just a trap anyway...

As the group cautiously approaches, the dots become three dots, and the group can make them out to be three knights on horseback.

What are the other two's actions?

[CJ1145]

I shout "Ho there, lads! Who are ye, and what are ye doing here?"

[Cheddarius]

Cheddarius hides from a small range away and readies his bow. He discreetly passes his healing potion to CJ. "Here, take this. You'll need it more than I will if they turn out dangerous. Be careful, though. We only have two doses left, and I don't want to waste them."

Hmm two dots...

Why do you keep making us act as a group? When we keep doing different things? Anyways I'll just post this again but I'll make a few changes.

Yay! Okay, I checked and I was with Manfred hiding from knights with no obvious isignia and a prisoner. I keep hiding but try to see if there is any marks on the prisoner that tells me who his allegiance is toward. And I try to see what the knights have equiped.

Continue hiding like the pansies we are!

Also, I think the two groups are about to be reunited.

[Squeegy]

The prisoner is blindfolded and garbed in rags.



Cheddarius sneaks through the bushes and takes up position. Mission ducks into the forest and begins to flank them.

As Jed walks up to the knights, they stop dead. "Ho there, lads! Who are ye, and what are ye doing here?" Jed shouts as one of the knights draws his sword, but another stays his hand. "We are the Lord's men. We are transporting this prisoner." As they speak, the prisoner jerks up his head.

I'll continue my flanking until I'm in a favorable position where I can hear what's going on but can't be seen then I'll hide and wait for the "SIGN"
