I'll continue searching, mostly in search of the sounds of a battle but finding Manfred is just a plus.

[Squeegy]

Mission progresses along the road. Suddenly, he comes across a house. Several peasants are gathered outside it with torches and pitchforks. They are loudly arguing with each other and gesturing. Mission is hidden in the bushes, he can get involved or move on.

Cheddarius sets out after Manfred and Mission. As he walks across the land, he comes across a gruesome sight. A party of four wolves are feasting on the still body of a man. He appears to be armored. The wolves have not noticed Cheddarius yet.

[Cheddarius]

> Flee, flee for your lives
> Once sufficiently far away, go around

I'll join in yelling, "Yeah, get some! Why are we rioting?!"

[Squeegy]

Mission walks out of the bushes and joins the crowd. He asks a nearby peasant why the commotion, and he responds, "This is the home of a witch! We are tired of her ways and have decided to drive her out." The men seem to be having difficulty deciding who goes in first.

Cheddarius edges around the wolves and continues on. Later, he finds a steel amulet on the ground.

[Cheddarius]

YESSSSSSSSSS
> equip amulet, head onwards

I'll shove/push my way past the villagers and enter the building

[Squeegy]

Mission shoves his way past the peasants and enters the house. There is an elderly woman in there. She turns around and says, "Well, well. I didn't think any of you'd have the guts to come in here." Then she notices your armor and says, "You're not one of them, are you?"

Cheddarius equips his loot and forges onward. Suddenly, he hears a yell! He turns and sees a party of armed men a ways off, looking directly at him. They bear the enemy's insignia.

[Cheddarius]

OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD
Are the other people with me still?

[Squeegy]

OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD
Are the other people with me still?

No. Jesus Christ, dude. Are you paying ANY attention?

[Cheddarius]

Sort of?
How big is the party?

You party consists of one man about to get his ass handed to him by some enemy soldiers.

[Cheddarius]

The party of enemy soldiers, I mean.

He turns and sees a party of armed men a ways off, looking directly at him.

"Not at all", then Mission hikes a thumb pointing behind him, "You mind telling me what these people are up to?"

[Frelock]

"Whew, at first I thought someone was in danger, but it's only a peasant.  Have fun with the wench, chaps!"

Stride boldly out the door.

Take this as a life lesson, kids; being a peasant sucks.
