Probably won't be able to play next week. I plan on entering the seven day roguelike competition.

Normally I don't ask but I was really excited about this so I will. Is this dead?

Hopefully not. It would be a shame if it was. I seem to have bad luck, though. Right now, I am A] waiting on MrRoboto to clarify is his available times and B] trying to figure out a time in which you all are available. It seems like there isn't one, which is a shame. If it comes down to it, I suppose we could run this PBP, but I really hate doing that.

Yah I looked at the times and there is only one hour of overlap witch kinda sucks, and that does that even take into account you, on the plus side it looks like TGMD is back up.

Have you prodded MrRoboto yet?

GMT 1:00AM till around 5:00 for pretty much any day.
GMT 5:00AM or 5:00PM?
That's AM.

9:00PM-11:PM I could do also on week days, but not this and the above on the same day.

Edit: Also you are active from 10PM onward? What sort of school do you go to?

You are all eastern right?

I think so... it is what your profiles say.

That brings up the question of why we cant get a common time (I am only 1 hour off from eastern)

Ok I got a "chart" laid out of our times. Looking at it I see that Psyco Jelly's time and where he lives makes no sense, are you positive that is it not something else? Also the other bottle neck is MrRobto75's time, he has a late start so, is it possible to start any amount of time earlier? Not needed but it would be nice. At the currant times it is possible to play from... 1AM-2AM GMT, only if you discount Psyco Jelly's and what I suspect/hope is a mistake on GMT to timezone.

Mahhhhhaby I can stretch my Fridays to resemble me other days giving us an hour more... but it would hurt.

Basically it boils down to:

Grek: Pretty good, but not enough info, is that all days or only weekdays?

MrRobto75: A bit late on the start is there anyway to stretch it back some? also not enough info, is that all days or only weekdays?

CJ: Pretty good, a bit late on the end on M-T but I can understand and it is my times that mess up the Fridays.

PJ: Weird time, still hoping for a miscalculation. Also not enough info, is that all days or only weekdays?

Cript: OK but weird thing going on with certain days. Can you make the Fridays look like the other days? (Short answer no, for long answer see above.)

I hope that covers it, we may need to play by post for most things, that would suck but the only other thing would be to drop someone and no one wants that.

This would be so much easier if everyone that did not have a job the depended on the day/night cycle lived by UTC +8.

Edit: since Psyco Jelly said he could not play next week, I suggest we gather here at 1AM and play tell 2AM on Monday or Wednesday, If only to get this show back on the road and to reinforce our interest.

I can't really stretch back another hour due to school, and dinner.  Another hour forward and it gets quite late here.  The times are for the week days.

How many PCs are you looking for? I might be interested in joining. I'm in GMT -5, available pretty much any time all week. Starting next week, I'll generally be available from 5 PM to 1 or 2 AM Sunday through Thursday, 5 to 8 Friday and Saturday.

Looks like we will be doing play by post.

Mephisto,  I was looking for anywhere from 4 to 8 people. If you don't mind waiting until after the party gets back to the camp, then you can join them then.

Anyways. Maps:

You are in the hobgoblin overseer's house.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Which is in the farm.

The large tunnel to the southwest is the place where the theif you are after is said to be hiding. It is currently dark.

What do you do?

Probably not starting on fire, +e, or -e since they'll kill L1-chars right quick.

In Savage Species there's an Amphibious template. Grants swimspeed = landspeed (I think) (with attendant swim-check bonus, of course) and Amphibious trait(breathe either), but -2 dex.

((OOC) Ya, a rouge.)
AAAAAAAARGH

Psyco Jelly: you seem to have forgotten Search, which is kind of important for rogues.

Was considering joining, but PbP is just too slow. Takes weeks for combat.
It does not mean "generate character reactions to situations using a random number generator." Now, you could have your -character- make decisions by consulting a pile of dice and then use the dice to simulate your character rolling dice, but that is a characteriztion option, not "being Chaotic".
I reaaally doubt such a character being Lawful.

For such an example of character, see Setzer from FF6. Def.
Spoiler: kibitz kibitz (click to show/hide)

If I were making a character, I'd want to roll instead, really.
Spoiler: I'm Lucky (click to show/hide)
and I'd ask if crafting in the background is acceptable, whether traits/flaws are allowed...

and setting-specifically whether dwarves are too hated by locals to be allowed in goblin hacienda.

Lessee, you ha'e...a Sor-Hum-LE-Mal, Bar-Orc-CN-Mal, Sor-Kob-CN-Mal, Rog-Halfling-LN-Mal.
