I foresee this as being terribly confusing. I'm guessing new turns start after the DM posts reactions.

Ulfgar continues down the corridor.

Correct.

We need actions from  CJ1145  and Psyco Jelly.

Oh! You're done debating rules now, then??

I will seek out whatever is trying to kill me with a spot check. I guess. If I find anything, I move to attack with a charge. Otherwise I move further down the corridor.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

Yes.

On your spot check, you rolled a 15 after modifiers. This reveals the following:

The person shooting you is shooting at you through a large arrow slit in the clay wall. There are arrow slits like that on the wall at various points. You suspect that the ballista is on a track, allowing it to be moved to fire through them.

I'll try and trick them into revealing themselves (+6 to Bluff).

"S' alright! We aren't guards! Just happen to be lookin' for a fence!"

Not only is it not actually advertising anything, it's just copy/pasting word salads about gold, runescape, oil, yuan, and handbags.  It's like a transporter accident combined all the spambots into one shambling mass of online sales.

Ignacius calls out, "S' alright! We aren't guards! Just happen to be lookin' for a fence!" in an unsuccessful attempt to get on the thief's good side. The bugbear growls back, "You iznt looking for the fence! You are here to steal from Grungo!"
[Failed Bluff check]

Rukkuz, swift as ever, clears the hallway. He finds a ladder going downwards, and, beyond it, a door.
[Decided to stop you at the ladder. You can retroactively decide to keep going, if you want, going as far as the door]

Meanwhile, Ulfgar and Haurach creep forward down the tunnel and Urten commands his undead thrall to come closer with the (lighted) lantern, which he then takes.

Okay, that mule is hilarious, for some reason.

"Bah, I'm fallin' behind. No helpin' it, I guess..."
Ulfgar mutters a mild oath cursing his stubby dwarf legs and continues following the cave.

I'll begin to hustle at 60' down the cave, if I can.

Where's the snake we befriended?

Why is a random snake that almost got killed in this cave following us instead of getting out of doge? I find it quite suspect.
