(I'm going with the majority here who seem to be in favor of going down to Level 2 for the snakes, rather than 1 vote for going north on Level 1 to the intersection)

You strip the pants and underwear off the body. Whoever stripped his gear took everything else.

You wear the dead man's underwear on your head. It's pretty disgusting.

You head back south, down the stairs, and then north to the altar room. You go east to the turtle fountain and fill up your magazine again, latching it into your gun. You wear the dead man's pants on your arms and chest for extra protection from the snakes.

(Cheddarius gets bonus points for taking his pants off and wearing them to see if it works. Um ... unless he just always wears them like that at home)

You drink more water and wash up a little. That guy's clothes still really reek.

Steeling yourself, you cross the altar room to the west. You pass a side passage leading north in the hall. And you get back to the snake fountain room.

You mutter "Snakes! Why does it have to be Snakes?" as you look around for another one that's all by itself. It's the weirdest thing. A big snake looks up at you as you come in and begins to slither toward you.

Inventory: 7/20
Clothes (Worn) (Shirt, Pants, Socks, Boots, Belt, Underwear, Hat Made of Underwear, Arm Guards Made of Pants)
AK-47 (Dart Bayonet)
AK-47 Magazine (0 rounds, two gulps of water) (Face scarf wrapped around it)
Engraved Lighter (Almost Full) (Lit)
Canteen (Empty)
2 Darts

(Dang that picture of Indy makes me want to hit the video store and have an Indiana Jones 1-3 marathon)

Woot.
> stab snake
> if fail, club it
Hey Phantom, do you think we should drag the corpse down here to lure the snakes or something?
Also, we don't really have to run... after all, we killed that last one pretty easily.

I've got one vote for run and one for fight. I guess we need a tiebreaker.

If I remember correctly, Snakes don't feel pain. And they could still bite you if you stab the middle of them.

By the way, Heph, I forgot to tell you that your dart bayonet idea was pretty smart.

You try to remember whether snakes feel pain or which ones are poisonous. It's probably in a book in a library somewhere, but you don't know.

You summon the courage to try stabbing the snake. You have extra reach with the bayonet, but it's moving pretty quickly and dodges your stab.

You try again and nail it right in the eyeball. The snake thrashes around and you take the opportunity to stomp on it a few times. With all this action the dart comes loose from the gun and the snake rolls around on the floor just completely flipping out. Moments later it stops moving.

You're in the snake fountain room. A big roiling fountain of snakes is here, and on the other side is some kind of shiny metal thing on the floor. There's a dead snake with a dart sticking out of its eye. It's smashed pretty flat.

Skin snake.
Dry snake skin into leather.
Use Snake Leather as whip.

Do that all away from that room.

"2. Does the snake feel pain during this slow death?"

Yes, there's no doubt that it does.

Oh that is good.

Detail the snakes please.

You grab the snake and drag it out of the room into the hallway between the altar room and the snake room. There is also a passage leading north.

You don't have anything sharp to skin the snake with. The darts are pointy but you need a cutting tool.

The snake is about six inches thick and six feet long, black with green oval-shaped diamond patterns running down its back. The pattern is highlighted with lines of a beautiful red and a very pale green-white. The snake has fangs, one eye with a dart sticking out of it, and its tail ends in a blunt point. You flip it over. Its belly is the same pale green-white as in the highlights on the back. The rest of the snakes looked about like this one.

You yank the dart out of the snake's eye and stick it on the gun again.

Fun Fact: Snakes bleed out real slowly.

Try that trick where you unequip your firearm then equip it again. (Stolen from metal gear)

Is your belt really necessary? Are your pants much bigger than your waist? If not,
> use belt when reattaching bayonet

> take snake to fountain room
> drink
> return
> kill again
