It's another pool room. This time, instead of an acrid smell, the room feels very cold. The pool is very clear, and much deeper than the one with the ppillar and chest. You can see something at the bottom but you can't tell what it is.

The air gets colder as you get closer to the pool. You poke the pool simultaneously with your unlit torch and the spider corpse. They become freezing cold immediately. The spider corpse stiffens up even more.

Wouldn't liquid nitrogen boil away almost instantaneously? Or at least very, very quickly? I mean, this temple's been here for centuries at least, is someone just coming around and refilling the pool every few hours?
