The SPIDER does have heart-shaped markings on its back! Maybe it's a SPIDER of LOVE?



It lunges forward to bite you. You manage to whack it with your torch and it bites your shield, gnawing on it. You burn it with your torch and it goes scuttling away into the webbing above.

Retreat back to the other room, then proceed to panic and run around in circles screaming "I WANT A PONY!"

You run back into the cobweb hall to the east and begin gibbering wildly about ponies.

Obviously this place is getting to you.

Run east while screaming about the aforementioned pony

You scramble east, and find yourself in a room that looks a lot like the snake fountain room. There's a stone basin in the floor in the center, but this basin is full of a horrible muck that looks like pitch-black oatmeal. The hall continues south.

It has no smell. It isn't moving. The surface is lumpy like freshly-stirred rough oatmeal. It's completely black, but moist and shiny. It fills the basin completely.

Attempt to discover what the oatmeal tastes like without swallowing any of it.

[LeoLeonardoIII]

You smell it really closely. Still nothing. You take a dab of it and put it on your tongue and spit it out. Nope. It tasted like absolutely nothing. You know how water has a taste? You get nothing out of this stuff.

We should come back later with an empty container. For now, let's go south.

[LeoLeonardoIII]

You pass by the fountain heading south.

You're in a hallway going north-south. There is a side passage west.

You limp west into a room.

There is a pool and a pillar in the middle with a chest on top.



There is an overpowering stinging smell in the room that makes your nose drip and your eyes water.
