You head south.

You're in a north-south hallway. There are more carved stone faces with glowing blue eyes. You swear you can see the ones at the edge of your vision move a little. Like-

WAIT did that one just lick its lips? No ... no it's tongue was always out like that.

You strain to listen for something, anything. Your shoes scuffing on the floor sound like they're right in your eardrums. Your Shirt and your Underwear Hat are damp with sweat.

Even in the darkest of times, I'll always have a pair of underpants on my head to lighten the mood. :D

You head south. The corridor opens up into a room here and then continues West. You can see the dim light to the North, but now you're back in darkness. Good thing you have your trusty Engraved Lighter!

The room looks empty at first glance. The walls are big blocks of bare stone with bits of plaster hanging on. There are old cobwebs all over the place.

You continue west down the hall. You're in more hallway, but it splits four ways.
A noise from the north startles you. It sounds like an old man yawning and getting up while rolling a whole bunch of dice. And then a footstep. And another. Suddenly something stabs out at you from the darkness and you just barely parry it with your gun.

Looming out of the darkness in front of you is a moving, walking SKELETON! Its skull is brown and you can see pieces of ancient dried meat still clinging to it. It steps back out of the area of your light and you suddenly realize that you can't see more than a few feet, but everything down here can see you quite well.

I KNEW IT

Going to go to sleep. We should all debate on what to do here.

Yep me too. I was going to cut you off because nobody else is around to try to say anything against you, but it worked out.

EDIT: Oh and thanks for the mapping, it's pretty cool.

I'd say retreat to the room with the air shaft, hopefully drawing the skeleton there before we fight it.

I say run for it, and explore those Basement-level rooms. Maybe we could get some good stuff there. And everyone knows the top levels of the dungeon crawl have the easiest enemies. :D
Because if LL planned this out, he wouldn't have put a giant colossal hydra-esque titanic dragon in a room for a thirsty, starving man with only a crude club to fight, would he?

EDIT: Also, no problem. About the map I mean.

Run the hell out back to the entrance, maybe the storm stopped...

But kill one or another snake for eating.

Another snake to fill it up with water.

I think we're fine for now; we have a full canteen and a snake in the fountain if we get hungry. Maybe we could do that later?

Spoiler: On Vetos (click to show/hide)

You turn and run for the stairs up. You hear the skeleton coming after you, but by the time you get to the top of the stairs you've lost it. You wait a little while but the skeleton doesn't show up at the top of the stairs.

You pass the metal cylinder with the soldier on it. You cross the shattered altar room and continue straight south to the stairs up to Level 1.

You head north. You hear buzzing from the passage to the west, like before. You go east to the stairs to the surface. You can tell already that the storm is still going. But you head up to check anyway.

Yep. Still going. What is this, some kind of stupid plot device?!  ???

You head back down the stairs. You're at the entrance hall. Sand pools at the base of the stairs. It's accumulating at a very slight trickle.

Alright, head into the snake room and impale one or two of the mother f*ckers. We need to keep chipping away at them until they're all gone.

> BLOW OUT FRIGGIN' LIGHTER
Oh god we're at 75%
We need another lighter
Or some butane or something
Also, we can always eat our snake belt if we get hungry. It's sort of awesome but I don't know if it's great at holding up our pants.
So I think we should just go
