I bought it from steam, won't update.
When I manually downloaded the patcher from Taleworlds, it failed. Didn't open the file or something.

Won't update? Isn't it at 1.134?

Steam will auto update it unless you have fiddled the settings

If I delete the M&B files, and reinstall, do my saves get lost?

Yes, unless you go grab the saves from the files

They do? Last I checked, M&B puts the saves in a separate folder under My Documents  (along with screenshots).

It does. And 1.134 is the latest version of Warband.

And next time just download from the Talewords website, it's actually the full game, just without multiplayer enabled and you can't play once your character hits level 7 (i think, might be 6 or 8) until you enter the Serial Key and such.

Also, i'm not familiar with how Steam installs games, but i believe it's different to that other installations are like, so that's probably why the updater wouldn't work, Bordellimies.

Centration. Similar to Spacestation 13, but in 3D and first-person. Sounds damn awesome.

I appear to be blest with one of the most useful bugs ever.

After having grinded enough to marry a lady, I immediately decided to host a feast in celebration. After spending several days acquiring enough goods to hold the feast, I started it. Or at least, I thought so. You see, I got a quest to start the feast, but never actually completed it. But, and this is important, the game considers that I started the feast. Yet since I never completed the quest to start the feast, the feast can only end if I call my nobles out on a campaign.

Long story short, every single one of my nobles is partying in Suno. Eternally.

While the thought of an eternal party may be badass, the best part is that (every few days) I can schmooze with my nobles, earning me +1 relationship with each of them. Doing the math, 1*(∞/2), means that I can have 100 relationship with all of my nobles. Every single one of them.

Won't you eventually run out of food?

A. I can replenish the stocks.

B. They don't appear to be eating any/much. It's been a month and they've gone through one (1) jug of honey.

C. My pantry can't hold more food. I've filled every single inventory square.

You know, that's an awful lot of trouble and time for something you coul do by pressing tilde and typing in Cheatmenu :s

Hell, i've recently discovered where the game keeps my exported character, in all its editable text glory. Still debating on where i should edit it or not.

Well, it took me around 5-10 minutes maximum to acquire all the food, which really wasn't much time. Plus, it happened by accident, so it's not much trouble.

I'm surprised that your debate lasted long enough for you to post in this thread. (In other words, edit it!)

Edit it for science! How fast do you run with 100 Agility and 100 Athletics skill?
