O.... I play the original version, my client doesn't support the mod. They are blue in my version.

Rhodoks are green, what are you talking about?

In the original version, their color was Microcline blue.  In the new version, they're part of why I like the Arab dudes, because they seemed pretty well suited to killing Rhodoks.  Or maybe the Rhodoks are suited for killing them.

Point is, I miss the original version.  And dammit, I don't want to play this ridiculous timesink game again, why am I posting here.

Original version? Try gametap. 60 bucks a year (or 10 for a month), and you get it, and hundreds of other games, in which they keep on adding (and removing).

It's a very unstable site but seems to be getting sorted out. My rage from their stupidity has died off

Eh, I quit Gametap when they derped it up by switching to browser-only.  Overnight it went from a fast, simple, and awesome way to play any game you want, to a broken mess of a system.

I know, it used to be awesome. They even got rid of a lot of the games I was hoping to try out once i got an XP.

I think it might of been to protect from pirating though. Paying once to download all the games and copying them is not good. Thus the new encryption.

I think dwarf fortress has zero piracy and it's doing just fine; it raises 2000$ monthly, which is not bat for an overly complicated and obscure title.

Swadia managed to declare ware on every other faction, which meant that swadia got stomped on.

Every village was looted. If a village scraped itself back to a state where it was no longer ruined, it would get looted again. I've also died a fair amount: the first notable one was me (70 odd men) versus over 600 nords, another was when I held off a seige of 370 - 80 but when the sarrinids returned with a force 800 strong my 60 defenders (still reeling from the last battle) stood no chance.

Best fun I've had with this game in a while though.

Actually, that reminds me of the old Pirates! mod for M&B. Lot of fun having ship to ship combat.

Idk, the old version of gametap seemed like something easy to pirate. Now you have it encrypted. I think that dissuaded a lot of people from trying.

And then you have the owners pushing for more anti piracy because a pirated game there means a pirated game for them.
