I don't really care. I like it when they escape. It means I will get a 40 men training battle some time soon.

Too bad your own capture is pretty much 100% unless for some miracle where you have a walking survivor...

Sieges, well, there is no escaping that.

There are mods that wont let that happen. I like the one that allows you to take control of one of your companions when you fall in battle.

Holding ctrl will let you sell all of a certain prisoner at once, and upgrade all of a certain unit.

Currently I'm still on a hard mode female kingdom-making game using neutral troops only.

The only mod I ever use is just Diplomacy.

This may sound odd, but I have -never- played a mod for this game. More Metal doesn't count. (I like that mod a lot though. Clang death arhg slash!)

So, suggest mods to me, if you will. (I haven't been keeping up with this topic and I'm too lazy)

=)

(I assume suggestions will be "Brytenwalda" and "Doplomacy" since those are the mods I've seen mentioned here...)

Diplomacy is less of a mod and more of an essential addition to vanilla Warband. It honestly should have been fully added to Native a while ago.

There's a full list of features and the download here

I've been playing mount & blade since m&b1 came out way back when and I never knew about the ctrl+space thing. Wow! Turns out you can ctrl click items when looting to auto drag them to your inventory too.

What's the ctrl + space thing do?

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

On the world map, you can press space to stop your party. ctrl+space speeds up time. Makes traveling much faster, but keep in mind that everything speeds up, not just you. Very easy to get ambushed.
That. And ctrl clicking stuff auto sells/loots that item so you don't have to drag items around. And apparently ctrl clicking a type of prisoner while selling them, sells all of that type.

As far as I remember, this is the standard combination in games with a blocky inventory.

The speeding up thing is new, though.
Need to play some more Warband soon.

Yeah, I've been using control clicking since before M&B normal was released.  I don't think CTRL+Space let you travel back then though.
